I think we need Dave Cooper on this thread to tell everyone to stop pissing and moaning and get behind the team. Arsenal's confidence is sky-high having won six on the trot, what exactly were people expecting today?

My memory isn't what it once was but when was the last time we had a manager with a primary strategy of giving it a go irrespective of the opponents. Sir Brian? Ron? Fuck me, that's all I want. Even O'Leary the pug faced c*** was more adventurous.
Well, we could have at least given it a go.

O'Neill had his faults, and a few of them, but he would never have been as spineless as this guy.

What's even worse is that O'Neill has Sunderland on the verge of European qualification. I think 8th might be enough seeing as Liverpool are already in. His current club and his ex club couldn't be travelling in opposite directions at a more alarming rate.

Just got in. Are we playing like Barcelona but not having the rub of the green. Or just giving it the old meek surrender routine?

Great opportunity there when Ireland was had the ball on the edge of their area and he's looking for Heskey to make some sort of run. Emile responds by looking straight back at him. Surely time for Weimann.

YYYYEEEESSS. A corner

We've had 167 corners this season and are the only club not to have scored from one so I'd temper your enthusiasm a little

It's not this performance, drastically shit as it is, which is the problem - it's that, given that we're likely to lose at Arsenal, our lack of adventure in other, winnable games is inexcusable.

I think most were fine with him having another season. Also no-one thought the board could be as incompetent as they have been.
