Available Saturday afternoon.
-
VILLA: Given, Hutton, Cuellar, Collins, Warnock, Albrighton, Petrov, Herd, Ireland, Heskey, Agbonlahor. #AVFC
Subs: Guzan, Bannan, Gardner, Weimann, Lichaj, Baker, Carruthers.
-
Where is Charles........
-
>:(
Where is Charles........
Injured.
I dread to think what position Emile will be playing.
-
Arsenal Line-up: Sczesny, Sagna, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Rosicky, Arteta, Van Persie, Walcott, Song, Gervinho, Gibbs.
Subs: Santos, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ramsey, Djourou, Fabianski, Chamakh, Benayoun.
-
Heskey? oh for fucks sake.
-
Looks like our 'elite surrender' is in force. Oh well come on you Villa boys.
-
In that 'number 10' role he is so adept at. Looking at that team and the bench full of youngsters we have I really do worry now. Prove me wrong lads!
-
Fucking Ivanhoe. I give up
-
Playing one of the 'elite' and it's back to Heskey in the midfield eh?
Hmmm, beer in the sunshine or watching us try and keep the score down......?
-
When i saw the gallery on the OS yesterday with Heskey training I figured it was just a matter of time that he was brought back in. I imagine he'll play just behind Gabby, or he'll play the lone role up front with Gabby and Ireland just behind and either side.
I'll be glad when he's gone not because I don't like him, but just so we never have to discuss him again. Let's hope he does the business today.
-
My logical conclusion is that Heskey's playing on his own up front, with Gabby and Marc on the wings, though I get a funny feeling I'm completely wrong - 'logical' is not exactly an accurate description of our team selection this season so far.
-
Heskey ?
The mind boggles.
Unbelievable.
-
Play a decent team and he fucking bricks it every fucking time, grow a backbone Mcleish ffs.
-

Agreed. He'll do what he does well and that's defend set pieces and win a few headers. Stranger things have happened than him tearing up a defence, but not many.
-
Fucking cowardice once more. In a game like this what is wrong with going for it with Bannan or Gardner?
Take the game to the opposition instead of lumping it in fear.
-
It doesn't matter where Heskey plays because with him included, we are down to ten men.
-
It doesn't matter where Heskey plays because with him included, we are down to ten men.
Yup.
I'm gutted and it's still half an hour to kick off.
-
To be fair, we have'nt got a great deal of options, Weimann is the only logical replacement, and i'm not sure Arse away is the right place to make his full debut.
Heskey will be gone in the summer, time to judge then i think.
-
Heskey shouldn't be selected under any circumstances, it's nothing against him personally but he's not good enough. He also has a detrimental impact on the rest of the team, Mcleish doesn't help himself.
-
First thing I hear when I get back in is Heskey to start.
I think I'm going to go straight back out.
-
Heskey? oh for fucks sake.
This. The seconds after optimism...
-
Weimann up top is actually a natural choice.
-
Heskey? oh for fucks sake.
This. The seconds after optimism...
Then I think we can either beat this horse to death or get behind him and the team.
-
The bench is pretty young - who is not in the 18? Fatty Dunne, Clacker, Zoggy, Delph, Fonz and Bent...anyone else?
-
The bench is pretty young - who is not in the 18? Fatty Dunne, Clacker, Zoggy, Delph, Fonz and Bent...anyone else?
Makoun
Is he still even our player?
-
My logical conclusion is that Heskey's playing on his own up front, with Gabby and Marc on the wings,
Yep I guess so.
-
It's time for Emile to prove his critics wrong.
But then, it always is.
-
Words fail me...... Well let's hope the big man scores the winner, i can't see it but we can only hope. Sighs.
-
Heskey?! WHY? We all know he's terrible and won't contribute anything other than heading the ball to no one or falling over intermittently.
It's going to be like Christmas when his contract finally runs out.
-
Play a decent team and he fucking bricks it every fucking time, grow a backbone Mcleish ffs.
well they are the BIG club and we are the SMALL club the way the manager talks...
-
Emile looks pretty poor in the warm up
-
Heskey?! WHY? We all know he's terrible and won't contribute anything other than heading the ball to no one or falling over intermittently.
It's going to be like Christmas when his contract finally runs out.
If it doesn't get renewed.
-
He will never learn.
Fuck McLeish and his negative shit.
-
Villa Streams appears to be down - anybody else having trouble logging on?
-
Fucking cowardice once more. In a game like this what is wrong with going for it with Bannan or Gardner?
Take the game to the opposition instead of lumping it in fear.
exactly , we dont expect to win , have a f**king a go . Not hold on for a 0-0 all match.
-
It's not how he plays that bothers me. It's him being in the side and how it makes us play as a team that bothers me.
-
I might have a tenner on Heskey hitting the corner flag
-
He will never learn.
Fuck McLeish and his negative shit.
Yep bang on. He genuinely is an idiot, I cannot believe how stupid he is. If we put out a team to give it a go, he'd get so much more leeway from the fans.
-
He will never learn.
Fuck McLeish and his negative shit.
Come on Paulie, channel some of that 'We're going in the right direction and I can see what McLeish is trying to do' shit from the post Fulham game.
-
I can understand the manager being negative If we have the same points as Wigan , well maybe . But have a go at them at least , thats the only way of playing them , let them come on to us and they could hammer us.
-
He will never learn.
Fuck McLeish and his negative shit.
Come on Paulie, channel some of that 'We're going in the right direction and I can see what McLeish is trying to do' shit from the post Fulham game.
The Fulham game when we acted like we had won the European cup . Embarrassing .
-
Stream here. http://www.villapie.info/
-
C'mon you Villa boys, roll ya socks up guys and lets some action ffs, the Chelsea Spurs result will mean Arsenal will be salivating.
McLiesh..................Lets see what you got.
-
Late change to the Arsenal line-up. Johan Djourou in for the injured Laurent Koscielny.
-
McLiesh..................Lets see what you got.
.............................. Emile
-
Villa Streams appears to be down - anybody else having trouble logging on?
No mate, works fine for me.
-
I don't think I can watch a stream... Coffee, cake, nap with Soccer Saturday I think...
-
McLiesh..................Lets see what you got.
.............................. Emile
There must be more to this great great club than Emile
-
Gabby Agbonlahor will show today true world class, Messi sit up and take notice of a true footballing legend.
C'mon Gabby, have em for breakfast..........................................please.
-
Time to find a stream. I hope I've bought enough beer to drown my sorrows after this!
-
He will never learn.
Fuck McLeish and his negative shit.
Yep bang on. He genuinely is an idiot, I cannot believe how stupid he is. If we put out a team to give it a go, he'd get so much more leeway from the fans.
The one thing McLeish is good at is shooting himself in the foot. He could have been brave today and put in a youngster such as Johnson, Weimann, Bannan or Gardner. Instead, he puts in a not very good player who is the very epitome of yesterday's man.
I just hope that Heskey is able to confound his critics and that we actually approach this game in a manner belied by the selection.
-
Shay Given is about to give the performance of his life.................I dream't it last night.
-
Phat Dowd as referee. Watch this space i hate that fat fuck.
-
Sorry, but this bloke repeatedly makes me embarrassed to be a villa fan. His defeatist clelessness against the clubs he sees as giants is horrible to watch.
It is in his DNA.
The club won't be getting any more of my money until he is gone. I can't accept us not trying to win matches. It is the bare minimum.
And if anyone us going to give me the "what sort of fan are you" line, I don't care.
35 years I've been going and I have seen some awful villa sides but ivenever seen a manager as spineless as this coward.
-
Afterno..... WTF, Heskey, for the love of all things holy!!!!
VS working fine for me, just need to wait to see which channel it's on.
Just had a shoe advert to one of my favourite tunes, Dancing with myself by Billy Idol.
-

You dream about us avoiding getting hammered? Even in dreams our expectations have plummeted.
-
Anyone got a decent English stream?
-
35 years I've been going and I have seen some awful villa sides but ivenever seen a manager as spineless as this coward.
Just think O'Dreary ....
-
Villastreams in foreign?!!
-
Fuck knows what he'll do next season once Ivanhoe's cleared off. He IS going right?
-

Also agree, but Lerner's obvious disinterest and incompetence is a factor for me
-
Carruthers on the bench is positive.
-
He won't let his contract run out, because he's a cowardly moron.
-
We're going to lose aren't we?
-
Don't feel at all enthusiastic about this game. It was touch and go whether to finish decorating my main bedroom, or come down to watch this. I decided on the latter and then I saw that Heskey is starting, to go with Phil Dowd as ref. Wish I hadn't bothered washing my brushes out now, Anyway...link anyone?
-
Anyone got a decent English stream?
The Teme is quite nice.
-
Carruthers on the bench is positive.
Yeah but it's Martin Carruthers from the 90's.
-
Emule strikes ... into Djoujou's face
-
Heskey should have been sent off straight away elbow... apparently! Nobber!
-
Heskey makes an immediate impact (with Dojourouououous thoat).
-
Carruthers on the bench is positive.
Yeah but it's Martin Carruthers from the 90's.
He, he
-
I stress I have no problem with Heskey as a man, but he is fucking useless and the personification of the club's negativity and hopelessness.
-

Heskey should have been sent off straight away elbow... apparently! Nobber!
I didn't think you were going to watch?!
-
He won't let his contract run out, because he's a cowardly moron.
And he's getting £3million a year.
-
At least the spawn of satan isn't doing the commentry.
-
Found link here (http://www.firstrowsports.eu/watch/115056/2/watch-arsenal-vs-aston-villa.html)
-
Why haven't they taken the bleeder off?
-
I had a feeling Heskey might see red today .
Im turning off my phone , cant have my mates taking the piss.
-
Heskey should have been sent off straight away elbow... apparently! Nobber!
I didn't think you were going to watch?!
According the sky sports..... big nosed pundit le tiss on soccer sat... I'm trying to stay awake honest!
-
Emule strikes ... into Djoujou's face
I presume he did that in the warm up, the banana footed twat.
-
Well they say Heskey is good at holding up play. Maybe this is what they mean.
-
It's funny that Bannan, Gardner and Weimann all linked up for our last goal. None of them are given the chance.
-
Unlucky Marc, great counter-attack there.
-
Fucking hell Marc, just a bit of composure.
-
Albrighton, how pathetic and we wonder why our strikers can't score
-
Albie could have shocked the Library there
-
Here's the pattern, every man behind the ball. Let's go for 0-2 defeat eh Alex?
-
They carved us up there - lucky it fell to Sagna
-
Here's the pattern, every man behind the ball. Let's go for 0-2 defeat eh Alex?
Ssssh, don't tell everyone our tactics.
-
Here's the pattern, every man behind the ball. Let's go for 0-2 defeat eh Alex?
I genuinely meant it previously when I said he'd be pleased with a 2-0 defeat.
-
This is embarrassing.
-
Second opportunity wasted by Narc
-
Bloody tippy tappy football. Where's the hoof.
-
As I've said before, we need to play more of a pressing game - giving them too much space.
-
We aren't even making it difficult for them.
-
His negativity has infected the whole club.
-
This does feel like a matter of time before they score, they've got so much time and space with the ball.
-
Albrighton, LOOK UP!
-
We roll over quicker than a lovestruck collie.
-
First fucking challenge and that twat Dowd gives a yellow to Petrov?! What a plonker.
-
Dowd will be delighted to give us a yellow card early on for a nothing challenge
-
That didn't take long, shocking performance so far.
-
Here we go.
-
There we go 1-0, dreadful.
-
fuck
-
1-0. Arsenal. Gibbs
-
could be 5 or 6 easy
-
What a crap goal to concede. And Emule nowhere in sight.
-
That is fucking unreal. What the actual fuck was that?
-
Did we expect anything different?
-
We're shit and we know we are.
-
Balls.
-
Terrible defending and goalkeeping. Still at least we're halfway to the score Mcleish wants.
-
I find the stream in time to see Stan booked and the Arse stroll the first goal in...
I'm off.
-
What a fucking shock.
Looking shakey for McLeish's hope of keeping it down to 2-0.
-
Thats it, this is a joke, Arsenal are playing exhibition football and flick it into the net as easy as anything, this team is a joke to watch, McLiesh stay in London boy, your not wanted
-
Great challenge then...by all THREE of you....IDIOTS!
-
I tend to think McLeish has them right where he wants them now.
-
I think the game plan is excellent A Mcliesh
-
Never mind, lets see if we can keep it to 1-0
-
unlucky Given...didn't deserve that.
Come on Villa lets get a quick equaliser
-
What a fucking shock.
Looking shakey for McLeish's hope of keeping it down to 2-0.
Indeed, I think we're going to be mauled.
-
We are giving them so much room, we appear to be awe struck.
-
Missing: Aston Villa Football Club's pride.
What a great strategy this is. We could be getting sucked back into the mire here. Weimann's goal might have just about kept us up I reckon.
-
Why is there no atmosphere? Arsenal have just got an early goal and they're on a fantastic run on form. Why is it silent?
-
Afternoon chaps, hows it going? Just getting my stream going
-
Cuellar is actually very good.
-
Afternoon chaps, hows it going? Just getting my stream going
If you're Mcleish ideal.
-
Why is there no atmosphere? Arsenal have just got an early goal and they're on a fantastic run on form. Why is it silent?
Because their only playing us and know its just the start of many goals to come?
-
I wouldn't bother Fergal, It's like a waterfall it's so one way.
-
Came in from doing some gardening to check how we are playing. Read the last 3 pages. We are losing. Going back out side. At least it is sunny. Not letting the worst manager in our history ruin my day.
-
Afternoon chaps, hows it going? Just getting my stream going
If you're Mcleish ideal.
feck
-
I wouldn't bother Fergal, It's like a waterfall it's so one way.
Has he really played Heskey or is someone taking the piss?
-
Fucking hell 166 corners this season in the league and we haven't scored from 1.
-
166 corners this season. Zero goals scored.
-
Shocking stat 167 corners this season no goal so far.
-
Interesting stat from the commentator - Villa 166 corners this season and the only PL team not to score from one
-
The only club not to have scored from a corner this season
-
I wouldn't bother Fergal, It's like a waterfall it's so one way.
Has he really played Heskey or is someone taking the piss?
No someone... Alex taking the piss
-
Good grief thats worse than most pub teams.
-
FFS Albrighton.
-
I wouldn't bother Fergal, It's like a waterfall it's so one way.
Has he really played Heskey or is someone taking the piss?
I wish it was a joke.
-
I'll just stay behind the sofa for this one. I fear there is more to come..
-
Get into them instead of standing 2 yards off them everywhere....show some pissing FIGHT!!
-
2-0 Walcott.
-
very Embarrassing
-
Well done Theo, well taken goal.
-
Cuellar is actually very good.
Apart from his passing which is shit!!
What another crap goal to concede.
-
Fuck me, we are so shit
-
2-0 Cuellar costs us, fuck off Mcleish just fuck off.
-
So fucking easy. This could get embarrassing
-
I'll go back to bed I think.
-
fuck this - i'm going to mow the lawn!
-
Unfuckingbelieveable. I'm off to watch Carmarthen vs Aber. Fuck this.
-
Never mind, lets see if we can keep it to 1-0
Never mind. Let's try and keep it to 5-0
-
McLeish out.
-
I feel sick, we look that so so poor.
-
That's not even trying to defend. Well at least I'm glad I put 200 quid on an Arsenal win, this was so obvious.
-
This is disgusting.
-
My only shred of hope comes from the fact that we were 2-0 up there in the FA cup a month or so back, and they managed to win 3-2, why can't we do the same?
(Spoiler: we won't)
-
Never mind, lets see if we can keep it to 1-0
Never mind. Let's try and keep it to 5-0
In the first half
-
Well done McCunt.
-
I'm starting to come round to this McLeish out idea.
-
How bad are we? ISorry Randy but you won't be getting any admission money from me for quite some time.
-
McLeish out.
If fucking only, Lerner you sir are a buffoon.
-
Thats why I put Walcott in my Fantasy Football team hes going to have a lovely afternoon
-
Seen enough already. Thanks for spoiling my day McLeish.
-
We are not fucking safe, has anyone seen our run to the end of the season?
-
So fucking easy. This could get embarrassing
Ignore the score and it's still embarrassing...
-
Lucky it's not 3
-
We need to close them down FFS!!
-
Lucky it's not 3
Yet....
-
McLeish out.
If fucking only, Lerner you sir are a buffoon.
Quite.
He's the cretin who employed him.
-
Men against Boys....again
-
This is all your fault Mcleish, has playing Heskey worked? idiot.
-
Its a shambles
-
We're back in the O'Leary era
-
So much for these green shoots of recovery.
Why the hell do I let this shower of shit upset me so much and waste so much of my time on them?
-
Never mind, lets see if we can keep it to 1-0
Never mind. Let's try and keep it to 5-0
In the first half
hour
-
Has he bothered to organize the defence, I thought this bloke epitomized how to structure a good defence
-
We are not fucking safe, has anyone seen our run to the end of the season?
People can't seem to understand this point. Bolton galvanise after Muamba, Wigan pick up points etc, I can see us being in BIG trouble. We have no divine right, and only have 33 points ffs!
-
Lerner is a fucking simpleton for appointing him in the first place.
-
I see his masterstroke of playing Emule has not exactly worked. Was that stat true that Messi has scored more goals in his last 7 games than Heskey has in his Villa career?
-
Shamefull and fully expected.
-
Every week we get shitter.
-
Maloney scores a penalty for Wigan at Liverpool.
-
Are there any McLeish out or don't know what your doing chants yet? How depressing is the fact we have him for at least another season.... shudders.
-
Has he bothered to organize the defence, I thought this bloke epitomized how to structure a good defence
That's the one positive thought I had when he was appointed! .......Little did I know
-
We're back in the O'Leary era
He's already using the O'Leary mantra of bigging up the opposition, the only thing he needs to do now to make it complete is start slagging off the supporters.
-
Bolton and Wigan winning
-
Can we declare at 5-0?
-
It really is like having 11 of the kids who are always last to be picked to play football at school watching Villa
-
Every week we get shitter.
And thats on a good day
-
Lerner is a fucking simpleton for appointing him in the first place.
Part being a simpleton and part no longer giving a shit.
-
This is like a training exercise for Arsenal.
Embarrassing.
-
This bloke makes O'Leary look decent.
-
Is Heskey playing up front or on the wing? (I know the obvious answer is well it's difficult to tell if he is playing at all... but where has he meandered round the most?)
-
Meanwhile: Shaun Maloney has put Wigan 1-0 up at Anfield
-
I know we look shit, but how are Arsenal so far behind Man Utd/City? They look very, very good.
-
what the fuck has happened to Albrighton?
-
FFS Marc run at goal.
-
We're back in the O'Leary era
It's worse than that. I never felt we would go down, even in O'Leary's final season. O'Leary left us with players like Bouma and Laursen.
What will eck's legacy be? I don't think he will ever turn this around. Things have become worse and worse all season and we are really close to dropping. Thank Fook for Weimann against Fulham.
-
I see his masterstroke of playing Emule has not exactly worked. Was that stat true that Messi has scored more goals in his last 7 games than Heskey has in his Villa career?
Yes. He's also level on goals with Tim Howard.
-
I know we look shit, but how are Arsenal so far behind Man Utd/City? They look very, very good.
Dodgy early season form.
After today they'll have won 7 on the bounce.
-
I've switched the stream off. Fuck you McCleish, you spineless excuse for a manager.
-
None of them care about the shirt their wearing, no passion, no fuck all.
-

I fear that goal has lulled us into a false sense of security when the fans should be going for the bloody mans jugular. Totally inept.
-
what the fuck has happened to Albrighton?
Clearly McLiesh's training method for Albrighton is 17 pints down the pub each day cus he's still pissed
-
Fuck off McLeish and take Heskey with you.
-
Useless from Marc again. We are getting reeled towards the bottom of the table.
-
Good cross by Carlos there
-
Bolton 2-0 up.
-
Cueller puts a cross in and where is Heskey, he's on the wing talking to a mole about a carrot.
-
None of them care about the shirt their wearing, no passion, no fuck all.
You need an inspirational and tactically aware Manager.
McFuckwit is anything but.
-
Gabby looks completely depleted, how easy he gave up then and walked away
-
Are there any McLeish out or don't know what your doing chants yet? How depressing is the fact we have him for at least another season.... shudders.
Lerner out chants would be more apt. Look what is being done to our club. Worse than 05/06 now. An absolute joke.
-
I see Gabby's brief upturn in form at beginning of the season was purely because Mcleish's tactics hadn't set in, now he's doing nothing.
-
I've switched off, I can't be bothered to watch anymore, we are shocking, I don't think we can be absolutely safe, hard games coming up.
-
Maloney scores a penalty for Wigan at Liverpool.
Shit. I hate it when i have to hope that Liverpool score/win.
-
I think Ill go and join the Arsenal players for a stroll in the sunshine
-
what the fuck has happened to Albrighton?
Nothing.
He's just in a league above his ability.
-
what the fuck has happened to Albrighton?
Clearly McLiesh's training method for Albrighton is 17 pints down the pub each day cus he's still pissed
Actually when did Albrighton last have a really good game....??? Man U at home last season maybe, he has been a liability this year (amoungst many many others!)
-
Cueller puts a cross in and where is Heskey, he's on the wing talking to a mole about a carrot.
Snigger, If only it were funny
-
Anyone who thinks we are definately safe needs to think again. It's going to be very close after the next 3 or 4 games.
-
ive been going the villa 48 years and this shite is the worst ive seen and ive seen some i tell ya
-
We're back in the O'Leary era
It's worse than that. I never felt we would go down, even in O'Leary's final season. O'Leary left us with players like Bouma and Laursen.

I fear that goal has lulled us into a false sense of security when the fans should be going for the bloody mans jugular. Totally inept.
At least it gave us two extra points. I'd hate to face the next few games with two points less.
I could cry. This is all so upsetting and hard to take.
-
This is down the park knock about stuff for Arsenal, I can stomach losing to an excellent team by any amount, but not to a team that don't take us seriously
-

No you are wrong, that GOAL showed that we are back and can compete with the likes of Wigan and Fulham. We just have to accept that we are not fit to be on the same pitch as the big 6 or 7.
Get used to it because the fuckwit of an owner has employed a fuckwit of a manager to do fuck knows what to our club.
It's not Randys heart I am questioning it's his head, he just ain't using it.
-
nice one warnock
-
Warnock stops a certain goal as our defence parts like the Red sea.
-
We've come here to try and park the bus, but have turned up with a pathetic little Skoda.
-
See you later everyone there is load to do in the garden
-
Fucking joke. This makes me feel better that I'm not renewing.
-
Boy Oh Boy we miss the boy Robbie Keane
-
At least QPR are losing
-
There is no hope at all unless Lerner gets a brain.
-
Boy Oh Boy we miss the boy Robbie Keane
We are missing a manager and an owner too...
-
No pride,
No passion,
No spirit,
No idea.
-
We haven't had a game for 2 weeks and we look shattered
-
On a positive... Collins looks good!
-
We haven't had a game for 2 weeks and we look shattered
Probably because Arsenal are running rings around them.
-
There is no fight or passion.
-
The really frustrating thing is they have Djourou in defence. Our strikers should be rubbing their hands playing against that dipstick.
-
Don't excuse Mcleish commentator, every problem with the team itself is his fault.
-
There is no hope at all unless Lerner gets a brain.
Is there such a thing as a transplant, I mean even if it was just someone's bum we'd be getting a better response than we are
-
Oh well, had nothing better to do today.
At least the stream i am watching has no commentary so don't have to listen to commentators talking about how bad we are, how good Arsenal are etc etc
-
Bolton beating Rovers and Wigan winning at Liverpool. Oh dear
-
Don't excuse Mcleish commentator, every problem with the team itself is his fault.
Can you believe that!!!!!!!!!!!!He's having a difficult season, what about the friggin Villa fans ffs.
-
On a positive... Collins looks good!
except when it comes to passing and keeping the ball.
-
There is no hope at all unless Lerner gets a brain.
Is there such a thing as a transplant, I mean even if it was just someone's bum we'd be getting a better response than we are
HA HA
-
That Heskey having a sit down?
-
I've worked it out he's starting Heskey because then the fans can't chant 'you don't know what your doing' as he's not an option to bring on.
-
Boy Oh Boy we miss the boy Robbie Keane
We are missing a manager and an owner too...
Hear Hear. I can't see any end to this nightmare that doesn't involve relegation. What is the owner's bottom line? What the hell is his definition of failure? How low do we have to go before he considers it necessary to sack a manager? What is his vision of Aston Villa? Does he think this bag of shit is good enough for a club of Aston Villa's stature?
If he has lost interest then he should sell up. There was 130 years of tradition here before he showed up.
-
Herd needs to get out of midfield...doesnt offer anything there...
-
Fucking joke. This makes me feel better that I'm not renewing.
yep that was my thinking, had all the brochures and pre-approved crap in the week which i thought was quite well done, my name on the shirts etc.
I was a little sad to think i was giving up my seat... 45 minutes has soon dispelled that thought
-
Owner rubbish and so is the manager. The entire club is a complete joke at the moment.
-
Wolves now 2-1 down.
-
Just checked the score and then saw Heskey is playing. Our manager is a true cock.
-
CHANCE!!! Yea right, who you kidding
-
Well I'm going to give the misses one at half time, just can't make me mind up about the other 10 mins before kick of.
-
Booooooooooo, fucking rubbish. Mcleish out, listen Lerner just fucking listen.
-
Surely he's got to be brave and make a couple of changes here, we've nothing more to lose. Get Gardner & Weiman on.
-
It's not getting beat it's the manner of the defeat that gets me. We have not turned up.
-
what a load of fucking bollocks. 2-0 clueless shit.
sky just showed given going off at HT ranting to himself.... know how he feels!! bog off mcleish
-
It's not getting beat it's the manner of the defeat that gets me. We have not turned up.
That's just it though, Aston Villa as the club we are currently have turned up in exactly the way everyone thought. We are a joke.
-
As the table stands we are 8 Points above relegation
-
Now time for one of those inspirational team talks Alex ???
-
The thing that gets me is that with Heskey in the team we look like a poorer team. How the fuck can't he see it?
-
Oh yea and 31 goals scored...
-
It's not getting beat it's the manner of the defeat that gets me. We have not turned up.
This is the problem when you look at us and compare us with the very worst in the Premiership we look odds on to go down.
Alex McLiesh simply has to go..........What else can there be.
-
The thing that gets me is that with Heskey in the team we look like a poorer team. How the fuck can't he see it?
Because he is a useless ******.
-
Diafuckingbolical.
We've done well to get nil.
Half time -
Take off Hutton and move Herd to RB and bring Gardner in the middle
Take off Lionel Heskey for Wiemman
Take off Albrighton and bring on Bannan
Fuck it, we're shit anyway
-
Now time for one of those inspirational team talks Alex ???
"Well done lads! We're only 2 down, keep it up. Got get yourself warmed up Lichaj."
-
Just checked the score and then saw Heskey is playing. Our manager is a true cock.
So the manager is to blame because our defence keep giving the ball away? Is he also to blame for Albrighton wasting two golden opportunities before they even scored?
I'll criticise him as much as anyone for tactics, but that performance was down to the players.
-
Look on the brightside, only another 45 mins to go.
-
We have the most clueless footballing board around.
-
Why would a player with the 'right attitude' and serious ambition want to sign for us? It's a vicious cycle. We'll end up signing more mercenaries this summer because nobody who has a will to succeed would want to come to play for us.
That's if we actually have any money to spend this year. Christ there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

;D ;D ;D Comment of the thread thus far
-
Quality, quality, quality........we have Albrighton, they have Walcott, they have Song, we have Petrov.
The ball , and run for the 2nd goal is something the 2 Villa players are not capable of.
For me, theres no point in continuing with Petrov and Albrighton, get Gardener on for Petrov, and either Weimann or Bannan foe Albrighton.Nothing to lose, plenty to learn about their attitude.
I actually think we started off well, but 3 opportunities with Albrighton at 0-0, and nothing to show for it.
-
of all the decisions he could have made, Heskey up front and gabby on the wing is the stupidist thing he could have done, he said we need to share the goals around and then puts heskey up front, idiot
-
As someone said earlier - Bannan, Gardner and Weimann combined for the goal against Fulham and we played well. So what does he do - first opportunity he puts Heskey back in. Don't think he'd have risked the wrath of the supporters to do that at home.
-
On the plus side I've learnt a lot of Italian, I know all the words for woefull, awful, terrible and gutless
-

Another logical point, I would question any players motivation in making the decision to come and play for McLiesh
-
Take off Hutton and move Herd to RB and bring Gardner in the middle
Take off Lionel Heskey for Wiemman
Take off Albrighton and bring on Bannan
I'd go for that.
-
Just seen the team Emile WTF!!!!!!!
What is going on at the club i love, this management is taking us down we might as will play with 10 men
-

Nope as I said on the transfer thread, what do Villa offer at the moment? wage cutting, poor football, defeatism and low crowds. There is not much to entice anyone to come here.
-
I feel sorry for those who spent a fortune watching us home and away the last couple of seasons.
-
Albrighton needs to accept he is not that quick ..constantly he tries to outpace fb and 99% of the time he gets no where.
-
of all the decisions he could have made, Heskey up front and gabby on the wing is the stupidist thing he could have done, he said we need to share the goals around and then puts heskey up front, idiot
Bang on, and lets not forget that it was only hours ago when he released is rallying call saying players should support Gabby up front and he wanted more from midfield.
The guy has no game plan, he makes it up on the fly. clueless, if Lerner is watching this he has to act.
-
Aston Villa Football Club are incompetent and spineless right at the heart of the club from Lerner, Faulkner to McCluless.
And believe me, that's hurts to say but sadly, it's true.
-
This fixture is made for a counter-attacking approach, in the ol' MON style. Shame McLeish hasn't got a clue how to set up a counter-attacking team.
-
The *team talk* will be the same as always. Hide in the corner and let the players scream at each other. It's his way.
-
I feel sorry for those who spent a fortune watching us home and away the last couple of seasons.
I salute and hold in the highest esteem each and every one of those brave souls.
-
He can't set them up to defend so no hope of attacking.
-
Yep it will be, I predict 4 or 5 but that's fine with the board. We can't compete with the 'elite' clubs, moderate clubs or poor clubs. We sit in our group of one which is called 'abject surrender against all we come to play.'
-
This bloke makes O'Leary look decent.
Nah, I remember losing 5-0 at Highbury under O'Leary and it was worse than today (so far).
Why are people surprised that we start Heskey? He's on sixty grand a week so McLeish is going to get some use out of him before he packs his stuff and slopes off in May.
-
You have to feel sorry for the marketing team, trying to sell season tickets on the back of this shit.
Haven't even got the light relief of The General being on here with his ridiculous bullshit.
-
I feel sorry for those who spent a fortune watching us home and away the last couple of seasons.
I salute and hold in the highest esteem each and every one of those brave souls.
Looking at one of the lads in the stand where the Villa fans are, shoulders down and cringing, void of any emotion but holding on to the thought he's done his best for the club in spending good money to support his team. lerner F**king learn and compensate them right now you cheating mother.
-
Fancy a spoof name change to cheer us up a little?
-
Fancy a spoof name change to cheer us up a little?
If you must.
-
Woke up with an awful surprise today - have Chickenpox.
Compounded by Heskey being nominated to play and then this inept crap.
I suppose Oo Eck is just preparing them for the real job when he pays back Fergie for nominating him for the job. When a competitor recommends a fellow professional for a job it is because they don't think they are up to it.Remember Appy Arry nominating Tony Adams
-
Not you, RVB!
-
Randy Lerner the 2012 Doug Ellis remix.
-
So, I took my dog for a walk because I really couldn't be arsed to watch today. Before coming on here I thought I'd check the BBC site for the score and stats. I had a fear it could be bad. But fuck me. We may as well just handing them a white flag in the tunnel and saved everyone the trouble. This kind of utter bollocks does my head in to no end.
I'm honestly at the point of jumping on the get this fucker out bandwagon. Not sure how much more I can take of this.
-
Randy Lerner the 2012 Doug Ellis remix.
Ellis wouldn't have hired Mcleish or put up with this if he had.
-
The players need some inspiration at half time, somebody needs to get hold of Randy's spunk splattered letter from Alex Ferguson.
-
Have we decided to come out for the second half?
-
Heskey has contributed the (square root(x+c)) - 1, where x = fuck all and c = the dopey twat that picked him.
this isn't the reason we are losing, though. There are too many players out there who aren't good enough.
-
Chipsticks is quiet, he was looking for a stream earlier. I wonder if he found one and threw himself in?
-
Randy Lerner the 2012 Doug Ellis remix.
Ellis wouldn't have hired Mcleish or put up with this if he had.
Absolutely.
He certainly wouldn't have gushed in the media like a love struck teenager about letters of recommendation from Alex Ferguson.
I'm actually glad Lerner's not media friendly, the last interview was cringeworthy.
-

I was in my local town earlier and this woman was talking to her friend chatting away, she had her dog, a sausage dog on a lead, you know the kind, this big German Sheppard comes over and tries to give it one, while it was on the lead, woman didn't do a thing carried on talking while her little black and tan sausage was getting a right seeing to.
-
You will be able to measure the level of the manager' negativity very soon. Any half or even quarter decent manager would make changes at half time. He should bring on Bannan Weimann and Gardner for the whole of the second half but he will not. His first substitution will come at 60 minutes when they score their fourth goal then at 75 minutes and Weimann will come on in the 88th minute.
He is a percentage player and my guess is that Lerner has offered him a survival bonus which he is determined to get regardless of all other considerations.
-
Have we decided to come out for the second half?
I hadn't noticed we came out for the first!
-
If Villa get a goal we could have a game on our hands Ho Ho Ho does someone pay these commentators.
-
He is a percentage player and my guess is that Lerner has offered him a survival bonus which he is determined to get regardless of all other considerations.
Totally agree Brian, he's Mister Safety first and it wouldn't surprise me if there is £££ involved for survival.

Could be an analogy for RL's ownership of villa. Standing there talking as it gets given a good seeing too.
-
I think we need Dave Cooper on this thread to tell everyone to stop pissing and moaning and get behind the team. Arsenal's confidence is sky-high having won six on the trot, what exactly were people expecting today?
-

I still think there's a player in Albrighton. He's too much of a confidence player and I think he needs good management and coaching. If there is one thing McLeish has proved it is that he's poor at bringing on attacking players.
-
It's so heart breaking. If MoN had had a Director of Football to work with, someone who could negotiate a contract, put players on a contract that fits their ability and age we could have maintained ourselves as a top six club. Instead we had a situation where he signed shit players on top wages for long contracts that emptied the bank.
That is the frustrating thing for me. We came so close but the arrogance of those at the top of the club fucked it up and keep fucking it up by refusing to correct another mistake.
-
I think we need Dave Cooper on this thread to tell everyone to stop pissing and moaning and get behind the team. Arsenal's confidence is sky-high having won six on the trot, what exactly were people expecting today?
Well, we could have at least given it a go.
-
Well we've come out as we finished the first half, fucking bollocks. Also some consideration needs to be made to the fact, Mcleish might play some of the youngsters but he is killing their confidence. Look at Albrighton, he looks hopeless at the moment.
-
YYYYEEEESSS. A corner

Didn't someone say that it was Faulkner who negotiated the contracts before he was CEO?
-
McLeish is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike, but Lerner still get's off far too easily.
-
Glad you liked that Villanation. We have to make our own fun in these tough times!
-
Gardner on for the completely ineffective Herd.
-
I think we need Dave Cooper on this thread to tell everyone to stop pissing and moaning and get behind the team. Arsenal's confidence is sky-high having won six on the trot, what exactly were people expecting today?
My memory isn't what it once was but when was the last time we had a manager with a primary strategy of giving it a go irrespective of the opponents. Sir Brian? Ron? Fuck me, that's all I want. Even O'Leary the pug faced c*** was more adventurous.
Well, we could have at least given it a go.
Sorry Paulie I fucked up the quote thing. Bastard Ipad
-
The most worrying thing is not that we are where we are, and it isn't that Lerner was stupid enough to appoint this twat in the first place.
It is that he is going to stick with him, and we will have at least anothe two years of this nonsense.
I genuinely don't think he'd bin McLeish even if we went down. That level of head-in-sand behaviour is easily the most worrying thing.
I can't decide if it is sheer fuckwittedness or lack of interest. Sadly, I think it may be both.
-
Odd substitution

O'Neill had his faults, and a few of them, but he would never have been as spineless as this guy.
-
If it somehow stays 2-0, you can bet that McLeish will say how great we were post-match.
-
We are not 'in it' at 2-0, not a fucking chance.
-
I'm pretty sure we played well at home to Arsenal when we had a go at winning the game...
-
I think we need Dave Cooper on this thread to tell everyone to stop pissing and moaning and get behind the team. Arsenal's confidence is sky-high having won six on the trot, what exactly were people expecting today?
A bit of fight? A bit of passion? how about a bit of clever management? I could accept a beating if we showed that.
-

An attempt to win the game? It's nothing to do with the fact we're getting beaten, it's the manner of it.
-
Arsenal are toying with us, I'd rather they show some real style and give us a thrashing rather than this strolling have a blast mentality, makes us look even worse than we are if that where possible.
-
I'm pretty sure we played well at home to Arsenal when we had a go at winning the game...
we were ... we should have got a draw (a victory in some people's view).
-
This is the first bit of attention I've payed to this game today. Used to be a season ticket holder. Just wanted that on record, Randy Lerner.
Think I'll go back to ignoring it.
-
On a completely unrelated subject, Tony Gale is one irratating co-commentator.
-
What's so irritating is that he might as well put Weimann and Bannan on now; give it a lash.
-
I'm not sure it's totally unrelated Matt, we are very irritating to watch.
-

What's even worse is that O'Neill has Sunderland on the verge of European qualification. I think 8th might be enough seeing as Liverpool are already in. His current club and his ex club couldn't be travelling in opposite directions at a more alarming rate.
-
fucking cross the ball you useless fucking idiot Albrighton. The guy is clearly Championship at best. Fuck him off.
-
Just got in. Are we playing like Barcelona but not having the rub of the green. Or just giving it the old meek surrender routine?
-
Yes commentator, hwhat fucking greart skill from Van Persie. He flicked it up and kicked it...and got nowhere. Prick.
-
Chasing shadows there.
-
Great opportunity there when Ireland was had the ball on the edge of their area and he's looking for Heskey to make some sort of run. Emile responds by looking straight back at him. Surely time for Weimann.
-
YYYYEEEESSS. A corner
We've had 167 corners this season and are the only club not to have scored from one so I'd temper your enthusiasm a little
-
Just got in. Are we playing like Barcelona but not having the rub of the green. Or just giving it the old meek surrender routine?
The standard.
-
C'mon Villa show how much you want to keep this 2-0.

here we go - a MON love in on a site that as a whole thought "he had taken us as far as he could" and should be sacked!!
-
The Villa defence invented being dazed and confused ffs.
-
Wigan winning at Racist FC.
-
It's not this performance, drastically shit as it is, which is the problem - it's that, given that we're likely to lose at Arsenal, our lack of adventure in other, winnable games is inexcusable.
-

Vermaelen is playing as a midfielder he has so little to do at the back.
-
It's not this performance, drastically shit as it is, which is the problem - it's that, given that we're likely to lose at Arsenal, our lack of adventure in other, winnable games is inexcusable.
Bingo.
I've thought for ages that our similar lack of ambition in much easier games would bite us on the arse in this tough run in.
-
The ridiculous thing is that if we could nick a goal you never know. As fancy as le Arse have been, they haven't put the game to bed yet (touchwood).
-
Well what a stunning display that Heskey put in eh Eck? you bellend.

Apart from the majority who felt that he deserved to continue. Every poll we had on this site about O'Neill had around at least 65-70% in favour of him continuing so I think it's a gross simplification, no in fact it's completely wrong, to say that the site as a whole wanted him sacked.
-
Thanks for your efforts Emile you have achieved nothing in 65 minutes.
-
Anyway, Isn't it a lovely day....
-
I have got to face a plastic Gooner on Monday. I will just ask him if he watched the game then ask him if he went then ask him the last time he went to an Arsenal home game, then tell him to fuck off when he answers no no never been.... Wanker
-
Thank F for that. I've not been a particularly vocal Emule-beater, but he has done absolutely zip-all today.
-

We're not operating in a vacuum. The opposition, with far more quality are also attempting to win with better players and they're also bang in-form.
It's the type of game where we have to make the most of the chances we get. If Albrighton had scored that chance early on, all this meaningless talk of ''passion and spirit'' wouldn't be there. Did Warnock show passion and spirit clearing that shot off the line?
Don't get me wrong, I'm as frustrated by McLeish and our season as much as anyone but sometimes you've got to be realistic. Being outplayed at the Library happens to better teams than us.
-
Thanks for your efforts Emile you have achieved nothing in three years.
Fixed.
-
Shocking that we haven't scored from a corner this season
-
Why am I still watching this?
-
YYYYEEEESSS. A corner
We've had 167 corners this season and are the only club not to have scored from one so I'd temper your enthusiasm a little
I know. I was being sarcastic
-
I have got to face a plastic Gooner on Monday. I will just ask him if he watched the game then ask him if he went then ask him the last time he went to an Arsenal home game, then tell him to fuck off when he answers no no never been.... Wanker
Just cut to the chase, call him a wanker before he opens his mouth and walk off!
-
Thanks for your efforts Emile you have achieved nothing in 65 minutes.
he has earned £1000 a minute....
-
Our decision making at set pieces is of league 2 standard, we have no clue, no leaders and no chance of scoring under this ginger spud!
-
What's happened to our passing?
It is awful.
I suppose it is confidence but we look so poor.
-
Only just started watching.
What a shit goal to concede that first one.
-
I think we need Dave Cooper on this thread to tell everyone to stop pissing and moaning and get behind the team.
O'Neill had his faults, and a few of them, but he would never have been as spineless as this guy.
What's even worse is that O'Neill has Sunderland on the verge of European qualification. I think 8th might be enough seeing as Liverpool are already in. His current club and his ex club couldn't be travelling in opposite directions at a more alarming rate.
here we go - a MON love in on a site that as a whole thought "he had taken us as far as he could" and should be sacked!!
Apart from the majority who felt that he deserved to continue. Every poll we had on this site about O'Neill had around at least 65-70% in favour of him continuing so I think it's a gross simplification, no in fact it's completely wrong, to say that the site as a whole wanted him sacked.
In my opinion, it's fair to say though that the majority of those people who saw MON as taking us as far as he can are also the most vocal on this site, so I can see where he's coming from.
-
Liverpool 1 Wigan 2
-
Tell you what, though, it's a lovely sunny day.
Is it going to be like this tomorrow? It'll help forget the football.
-
Does anybody get the impression that McLiesh has used his secret weapon, lull the enemy into a false sense of security by boring them to death ensuring they lose there will to live, then we score and get back into the game.
-
Ah why didn't he shoot
-
Tell you what, though, it's a lovely sunny day.
Is it going to be like this tomorrow? It'll help forget the football.
It really is where I am, at times today its touched the low seventies, wonderful stuff.
-
What's happened to our passing?

Happened to it? it's been like this most of the season. We will NEVER improve under Mcleish(apologies for the caps not aimed at you, just my own frustration!)
-
Thanks for your efforts Emile you have achieved nothing in 65 minutes.
he has earned £1000 a minute....
I earnt about £150 for spending most the day in a classroom doing extra work with students. Life ain't fair.
-
It was great in town. First scantily clad women everywhere day of the year. Marvelous.
-

I just went out and washed the car. Lovely day.

Fog has blocked out the sun in Edinburgh. Feels appropriate.
-
Albrighton has been very disappointing today, if he had taken those chances a little better in the first half we could be... oh yeah probably still losing.
-
As one of the apparent "many" that didn't think MON should be sacked, the 3 who did certainly dominated this site for weeks before he walked out
-
Sunderland 2 up. *sigh*
-
It was great in town. First scantily clad women everywhere day of the year. Marvelous.
Tit Monday, on a Saturday?
-

I gave the lawn its first trim of the spring, and am now sat in the sun, iPad delivering the exciting denouement of events in North London.
Surprised how legible the iPad screen is, even in bright light.
-
As one of the apparent "many" that didn't think MON should be sacked, the 3 who did certainly dominated this site for weeks before he walked out
Even though you're wrong, it's largely academic as he walked out.
-
As one of the apparent "many" that didn't think MON should be sacked, the 3 who did certainly dominated this site for weeks before he walked out
So, three people rather than a majority? Right you are.
-

Didn't realise you were near my neck of the woods Monty.
-

We used to have a name on that when I was at uni, tit Tuesday or something.
-
FUCK OFF ALBRIGHTON - You really are shit.
-
Albrighton has been shocking today.
-
Weimann has made things happen since he's been on; okay, we haven't scored but at least we present a slight attacking force.
-
What a rubbish corner
-
Weimann has done more than Heskey did in his spell.
-

??????????????????????????????
-
Before he "walked out" being the key term, btw.
-
6 of one half a dozen of the other, yes MON could have timed it better, but there is now no doubt in my mind that Lerner gave him one hell of a push, we are the losers.
-
Another fucking shit wasted cross from Albrighton...
-
If someone could end the season tomorrow and we'd finish 4th bottom I think I'd take it
-
Sunderland 3-0 up.
-
It was great in town. First scantily clad women everywhere day of the year. Marvelous.
Tit Monday, on a Saturday?
It most certainly was. I should have stayed in town sight seeing rather than come home to listen to the Villa game.
-
May as well give Carruthers a go- he is on the bench isn't he?
-
Another fucking short corner when he monumentally fucked up the first one. Excellent....
-

Oh yeah, nearly 3 years now. Used to try and get down to games but frankly haven't got the heart to even save up.
-
I think the major issue with Albrighton isn't his technical ability, it is his decision making. A decent coach would help him with that.
-
Sunderland 2 up. *sigh*
"Lets catch Sunderland" *chortle*
-
Sunderland 3-0 up.
Well O'Neill is doing us a favour then.
-
Ramsey is really giving GG a bit of a lesson in midfield.
-
HOOOOOOFF, Hutton and Albrighton love it!
-
Everyone still looking up the table I hope?
-
3-1 Sunderland now.
-
Hate this type of football, Arsenal know they have the beating and the pressure is off and just playing the game out and Villa struggle struggle struggle.
-
On a side note, and totally inappropriate for here, I've just found out that the entire Ramones documentary (which I haven't seen yet) is now on You Tube. That's me sorted this evening. Perhaps it'll life the gloom.

I'll say one thing, mind, Liverpool are continuing to be one bright spark of entertainment in a season of depressing guff.
-
If results stay the same we're 8 points clear with a game in hand. Please someone tell me that's more than enough!
-
Everyone still looking up the table I hope?
Well we're still a way of relegation but we're in an awkward purgatory between mid-table and the relegation scrappers. Still feels like fucking hell, mind.
-
It really does beg the question of what on earth the players and coaches do during the week on the training pitch.
-
3-1 Sunderland now.
Alfreton 2-1 up on Cambridge now.
-
Fuck off ref you twat.
-
Lichaj on for Hooftton
-
If results stay the same we're 8 points clear with a game in hand. Please someone tell me that's more than enough!
That's enough.
-
I'll say one thing, mind, Liverpool are continuing to be one bright spark of entertainment in a season of depressing guff.
It's always nice to see Dalglish get less and less coherent
-
If results stay the same we're 8 points clear with a game in hand. Please someone tell me that's more than enough!
It's not if you look at who we've got to play.
-
Mighty Accies got 2 up at home to Queen of the South. Come on the Accies!
-
If results stay the same we're 8 points clear with a game in hand. Please someone tell me that's more than enough!
I look at it by the amount of games left and we could very easily lose every one of them, then it comes down to the other sides involved, we could easily go down and we are without doubt playing like relegation fodder.
-
I'll say one thing, mind, Liverpool are continuing to be one bright spark of entertainment in a season of depressing guff.
It's always nice to see Dalglish get less and less coherent
It can only be a matter of time before he hits someone in a post match interview.
-
63% to the Arse 37% Villa, I thought we would only have 10%
-
Weimann has actually done well, what the fuck were you doing Mcleish?
-
I couldn't muster the enthusiasm to watch this on the net. Seems like a good choice. Don't forget that we are playing one of the 'elite' teams so if the manager isn't going to bother neither am I.
-
Mighty Accies got 2 up at home to Queen of the South. Come on the Accies!
Sheff Wed also taken the lead against Leyton Orient.
-
Fuck it, I am off.... Catch you later chaps.
-

"Ring a Ring a Roses" Pocketful of Poses" a Tissue a Tissue we all fall down, Ok Emile your turn to be it!!!!!
-
Weimann does look lively doesn't he? That mix between Bent's cunning movement and Gabby's industry.
I hope that's his actual ability rather than the fact he is fresher having just come on.
-
Well done Ireland. One of the few who has actually looked bothered today.
-
What horrible commentators on this stream. Ireland "just about" got the ball in that tackle, did he? Just about?
-
Weimann showing what he couldd have done earlier in the game ....
-
On a side note, and totally inappropriate for here, I've just found out that the entire Ramones documentary (which I haven't seen yet) is now on You Tube. That's me sorted this evening. Perhaps it'll life the gloom.
Good show, I watched it last week.
-
Yep well done Ireland good effort, shame you'll be sold.
-
I very much agree with you Paulie that Albrighton's problems are those of inadequate or downright bad coaching. He is young enough to be cured of the vices of hot headedness and impulsiveness. The amount of money our young players have saved us in transfer fees and wages merits some of it being spent on a top, top, top coaching team. If Marc alone can be saved from oblivion it would pay for itself five times over.
-
Second Half's been a bit more bearable at least. I think that's almost definitely due to Arsenal getting bored rather than us actually trying.
-
I'll say one thing, mind, Liverpool are continuing to be one bright spark of entertainment in a season of depressing guff.
It's always nice to see Dalglish get less and less coherent

That prospect is the only thing that gets me through MOTD
-
We will be told in the post match thread to remember we played Arsenal, to lose there is no disgrace, and what do we expect, we are a team in transition !
-

It could be my fifteen minutes of fame. I could just sit in the front row, ask him an innocent question and then silently mouth `wanker'
-

I've said that to my wife who has paid a visit to the football room
-
Fuck it, I am off.... Catch you later chaps.
Leaving at 80 mins..... I know your type ;)
-
Arsenal are that bored they're playing themselves into trouble...
-
29% possession, 1 shot- off target. Pathetic
-
Grant Holt sent off after scoring 2 goals. Was looking like my fantasy team would be a bright spot but thats put a spanner in it. I am that bored with the Villa game i'm concentrating on my own managerial skills!
-

Thanks - I'll look forward to it.

Played Gabby

At least he didn't use the old I need to beat the traffic line.
-
I popped out to do the washing, did I miss anything?
-
Arsenal are that bored they're playing themselves into trouble...
I think they're pissed off we refuse to roll over and let them score again.
-
Collins gets booked for an Arteta dive
-
I popped out to do the washing, did I miss anything?
Yeah did you put the spin on....
-
I worry about our club with McLeish in charge. Clueless wanker.
Not in terms of a relegation this season. But genuine fear for our club.
-
I popped out to do the washing, did I miss anything?
Yes, their's a pair of socks below the table
-
Where's Song's booking?
Fucking wanker.
-
I worry about our club with McLeish in charge. Clueless wanker.

I'm in fear of both of those things.
-
Collins gets booked for an Arteta dive
so where was the card for Song?!!
-
Again, Albrighton, you are a very poor player.
-
Can't wait for the game to kick of, C'mon you Villa boys
-
I popped out to do the washing, did I miss anything?
Yes, their's a pair of socks below the table
Oh shit, what a depressing morning!
-
We haven't had a game for 2 weeks and we look shattered.
Realist words ever.
-
Fuck off. That isn't a booking if Song's isn't. He was holding his knee in pain when nothing touched his knee. Fuck off.
-
I popped out to do the washing, did I miss anything?
Yes, their's a pair of socks below the table
I hate it when all that hairy fluff stuff gets stuck in the filter.
-
That rounds that off.
-
And they score from a free kick that was only given because Song faked injury.
-
Fucking Dowd scores for Arse.
A bad day. End of. Byebye.
-
Thank you and goodnight.
-
Not a bad goal that!
-
WTF
-
Fair play, that's a great goal. A fair scoreline befitting of the respective performances now too.
-
Bollox. Cracking goal, though.
-
Wigan winning at Racist FC.
they are not racists. They are victims. Dont you have the BBC?
-
I know it was a great shot but surely Shay should have saved that?
-
That's how you strike a ball.
-
I know it was a great shot but surely Shay should have saved that?
???
-
Fair play, that's a great goal. A fair scoreline befitting of the respective performances now too.
Another 3 would've done that.
-
True to script, the last minute goal.
-
Post match McLeish "I felt we were always in it but their third killed us off"
-
oh shite the dogs ripped me season renewal pack up
-
Liverpool have helped QPR and Wigan to gain ground on Villa in their last 2. OK if they lose to us, too. Otherwise, nightmare. I think that means so called King Kenny has a worse record than Hodgson...
-
oh shite the dogs ripped me season renewal pack up
Result.
-
oh shite the dogs ripped me season renewal pack up
A four legged friend
A four legged friend
He'll never let you down
-
Shocking that we haven't scored from a corner this season
Every week we seem to set a new record for ourselves.
-
Post match McLeish "I felt we were always in it but their third killed us off"
Where is this from, Andrew?
-
Fuck it, I am off.... Catch you later chaps.
Leaving at 80 mins..... I know your type ;)
At least he didn't use the old I need to beat the traffic line.
To be fair I was watching it in a McDonald's when I should have been working. I don't know what got to me first the Villa or the screaming chav kids running round and screaming.
