N'Zogbia for Olivier Giroud?
« on: March 21, 2012, 07:55:50 PM »
According to one of the daily rags CN'Z could be used as bait to land Olivier Giroud from Montpllier.
Interesting!
Personally I think it would be a good move.
I would also try and bring in McGeedy from Spartak, depending on cost though. Only problem is I think he's a right winger (Albrighton)

He's shit.

O'Neill rated him, so that makes him doubly shit.

McGeady? Er, naw.

As for Giroud, still unconvinced, not sure if he's doing well due to a perfect storm of circumstances at Montpellier or due to genuine, individual quality. Certainly, he's a forward who needs supply, so swapping him with N'Zogbia is a bit like giving away a hammer for a nail.

I want to hold on to Charlie and see him come good but in all honesty any decent player could have matched his level of involvement and impact. Although obviously that comes down to the amount he features, and that is strictly up to Eck. It still blows my mind that McLeish is unable to get anything out of this guy.

I just want to win.

McGeady would cry like a 3 year old that needed a wee and demand that he be returned to Celtic with all the other rejects from the Premier League.

I'd go for McGeady purely because it'll mean that four-eyed fuck has to pay even more to take him to Sunderland.
