I'm feeling thoroughly unloved.  No phone call for me.

I'm going to hold off until the absolute last minute in the hope that McLeish gets fired from the roof of Bodymoor strapped to a ballistic missile.

Just got my call.  Very pleasant girl from the ticket office. Told her I'd been holding off renewing until McLeish was sacked and she said I wasn't the only one!!!

I got my 2nd call yesterday and told them that I'd renew now that the club has acted decisively - but that I wanted a refund if we appointed Mick.

It was just over 20k seem to recall it being announced on Pravda.

Our peak was about 25k from 07-09. We've lost about 5k season ticket holders in the last 3 years.

Had my call yesterday .......stated I was now looking to renew after the departure of McLeish. Just awaiting the new appointment ......and then the usual Villa debacle starts to unfurl.

I never did get a call in the end. However, late last week, I received a reminder email so I've sent in my renewal.

I probably ticked some box at some point that said contact me only by email. If so, Villa would be one of the few places ever to take any notice of that.

Just renewed my tickets in order to save the £20, increase on last year. As a bit of fun I asked the girl would I be liable to a refund if they appointed McCarthy, Bruce, Curbishley etc. She has told me that you can get a full refund upto 24 hrs before the season starts as long as the request is in writing.

At last I feel loved. Sort of. We had our phone call today, a very helpful lady called Donna apparently. I just haven't got round to renewing yet. No sinister reason; it's a combination of idleness and trying to resist the 'everything has to be done immediately if not sooner' culture that pervades 100% of my working life.
