Significant funding won't do it under Mcleish. The best thing Lerner can do is get rid of Mcleish and supply a new manager with reasonable funding. The fans will get behind the team if they can provide some entertainment.

Agree, but sadly I think he's more likely to provide McIdiot with significant funding than get rid of him, but more worryingly he's not likely to do either

Anybody buying a ST now is giving the club a green light to more of this misery.  Just wait a month or two,  make them a bit nervous.    If RL sees virtually no sales he might be forced to act.   There will of course be fans that say I will buy soon no matter what, but you arent doing the club any favours.

I will renew if McLeish goes, if he stays then I won't renew but will probably still go to the majority, if not all, of the games.

I haven't read the entire thread so it may have already been mentioned, I think a good sweetener the club could offer would be inclusive cup tickets, or vouchers for them,  let's face it they aren't going to have to give out too many if things stay the way they are, and it may convince a few wobblers to renew

I'm not renewing. I did last year but wish I hadn't. I've only been to one game (Fulham home) since the Swansea home match. I don't think I've missed much! Lerner and McLeish between them have ruined the club. What on earth possessed Lerner to appoint AM in the first place I just can't fathom. I've had a season ticket since 1989 and missed only one season in that time.

as I said in earlier pages I have renewed.  I love going down the Villa, treading the same path to the ground as my Great Grandfather, my Dad and his brothers did/do.

It's the one trophy Blues have won that we haven't.

It was only a shield when they won it. When we win it it値l be more prestigious because it痴 an actual trophy now.
