On loan he'd be okay. Would probably be decent enough alongside KEA. To be fair to Henderson, he's had to play out of position on the right a lot. But yes, the main problem is, he's a 5 mill player as opposed to 20. I'd be happy with a 5 mill player at this point. If he's shite we send him back to the dippers end of season.

Hmmm.  I think the Scousers are skint. Perhaps the only way they can get Dempsey is through selling us Henderson - delicious irony should that scenario pan out!

Yeah, I reckon so too. We've probably looked at 1-2 other options, like Dempsey, without luck. Can't win them all but at least the last few days we've brought in some valuable numbers. I trust Lamberts judgement too, so I'm sure it's quality as well as qauntity.

I think Hutton and Warnock will leave on loan to championship clubs in the next few weeks. I imagine we'll still have to pay most of their wages.

Warnock actually played well for us in midfield last season, went on the USA tour and could still contribute, if he's up for it. (not suggesting he's not)

Alan Hutton. Seems to have been overestimated in terms of his understanding of his role in the game?
But there was a point when he was rated in defence.  Scottish international, long contract with Rangers, moving to Spurs on a career high.
Actually, unless he can be re-educated into the PL approach, I'm struggling a bit to see his contribution in future.
Perhaps his strength is in a particular approach to playing in defence which would be valued on loan elsewhere.
