Interesting.  He will have a point to prove, which would be to Lambert’s liking.
We’ll pay his wages for the season and have an option to buy him at the end of the season for 10m.  Job done.

I also wonder whether our bid for Dempsey could have a bearing on this.  We’ll withdraw it freeing Liverpool up to sign him for a favourable deal for Henderson.
