Sturridge is exactly the type of player we need. He can make something out of very little and we literally have nobody that can do that. N'Zogbia should have been that player but he'd find a dead end in a desert if you put a ball at his feet.

He's always struck me as a stroppy, self-centred fucker and given Lambert's comments about having the right attitude and the team being the important thing I wouldn't expect him to be on our radar.

If Lambert thinks this Stephens and Benteke are any good i trust him. If we finish the day with just those i would be happy.
