It's just annoying how average clubs such as west ham and QPR can throw so much moneys at it

West Ham are hardly throwing money around, it is a one year loan deal for Carroll with no obligation to buy.

The way they'll play, Allardyce will have them lumping the ball into the air at his general direction for 90 minutes every game. I can't think of anything less appealling to watch than that.

QPR are setting themselves up to be the next Portsmouth, reckless spending which will end in disaster.

No but I wouldn't have turned my nose up at Caroll & Benayoun, Jarvis is decent, not £10m decent but we wouldn't spend £10m on a player. Be nice though, Sturridge or Sinclair would have been good
