Plus it'll be his last big contract so he'll want a shit load of money. In two years he won't be as good and we'll have another expensive player we can't shift.

N'Zonzi yes. Would improve our CM. He's also well established. One of the few bright spots for BBurn last season.
Dempsey yes. He'd be ideal playing as a 2nd striker.
Berbatov yes. Class.
Benayoun on loan? Yes. Been wasted at his last two clubs. He's best at a mid-table club, excelling and playing week in week out. Think he'd do well for us. On a loan is decent business. Permanent deal? No thank you.

I'd take any of them. The latter three probably don't fit into Lamberts transfer parameters though. There's some decent players available though.
