Plays for Chesterfield. I have no issue with signing prospects, because we need to do that too. We just need to supplement that with proven players too. We're not linked with any established players which concerns me.

He doesn't stand a chance in the Premier league, nor the Championship and never will (in my view); but I will still wish him all the best (hope he proves me wrong) and take the money and run

If the Chesterfield geezer  was just one for the future fine, but it can't possibly be our sole move for additional striking options. Or in this guy's case, non striking . Also, I'm guessing someone has slipped a few too many noughts on the end of the proposed fee? i.e. the bid was £500 ?
