we have some experienced players but they dont play much because our younger players are better than them, a lot of other experienced players have left and taken their big fat full pockets with them who also couldnt get a game , because our younger players were better than them

we have more acadamy players coming through than any other team in the league, this is what is supposed to happen, they develop and become first teamers, taking the place of the excisting first teamers, we just have more than anyone else because we are good at it.

the last thing we need are a load of experinced mercenaries, such as many of the ones mentioned or linked with, to only find they are still no better than what we already have and siddle of to join Warnock and Hutton on the non playing table

yes i realise we are bottom of the league, but we are also only 2 games into the season, the panic button on players should not be pressed yet

 in my view we played pretty good down at West Ham,
 the match against Everton was poor admittedly, but for me that was one of the best performances by a visiting team i have seen down at Villa Park in nearly 40 years of going (i obviously havent seen every game in that time though)
Everton the team who's manager has been there over 10 years whereas ours has only just started at the club

someone said all the optimism has gone after 2 games, well i'm still more optimistic than i was this time last season and we were still unbeaten then
