As I say if we have £20 million for one player(which I doubt in the extreme) I think it can be spent a lot better on someone else. A creative attacking midfielder would be one option.

I'd rather we didn't blow the 20 mil on one player.

No but I'm saying if we were to.

I think I prefer one 12 millions and 1 8 millions pounds player than 1 20 millions pounds player. But it need to be top notch players in europe not premier league. :) There are too many 20-30 millions pounds flop in football.

When I looked through about 2 weeks ago to find a young left back in the championship he was the only one I could find, so the link was inevitable. Richard Wilford from WM suggested it.

I think to pay multi millions for a player at the moment would be a bit crazy when there seem to be plenty wanting to come to the prem on a decent deal.

I'm not debating the merits of spending £20 million pounds on one player, what I'm saying is that if we were going to I'd rather it was someone else other than Carroll.

I'd rather we spent it on Moses and Ba.

Concrete Ron. If Villa had a player called Concrete Ron, I believe I could die fulfilled.

I think Ronnie Concrete has a better rhythm to it.

Has Concrete Ron cemented the signing yet?

This would be a good signing for a relatively low fee i'd imagine. I watched Boro four times last season (If you think we were dull then you should've saw them) and he was by far and away there stand out player, very attacking left back.

If Makoun comes back we could call him Discrete Jean.
