Out of the two (Berbatov / Carrol) then i think short term the perfect foil for Bent would be Berbatov. The one factor of Bents game is he is piss poor at holding the ball enough to get others into play - Berbatov is sublime at doing this. Also maybe the way Stan has been adored by fans here could sway him as these moody Europeans need to be loved

Long term i think Carrol would be the better investment but based purely on his age and that we could sell him on again

Would love to go for something sexy and Dutch to be honest so we have a theme throughout our team
