Would be very interesting if we ended up with 8 new signings. Shake up would not be the word! Although we have said we need it for a while, it would be very exciting.

Taking out Owen and Carroll, as I doubt either will happen, to get 7 players in, if they come, for about 15 million quid would be both refreshing and show a much smarter approach to the transfer market, leaving a decent wedge for the forward he wants.

I believe Randy will be backing Lambert all the way to bring in a decent forward and pay higher wages for the right player, Lambert has shown he can be sensible with Randy's money and spread it around and bring depth and strength to the squad with reasonable transfer fees and contracts.

Randy has had a couple managers now that have spunked his money on players, getting little value for money and his money pouring out on wages - he must be relieved he has some one who doesn't see him as a cash cow and pouring millions down the drain.
