Can some of you lazy bastards get up please? I've been bored shitless since 5 o'clock.

I'm up, which player you want to lay into?

His comments around March time about how he couldn't wait for the season to end , whilst in the thick of a relegation battle, was poor considering he was then captain.
For someone who has always worked his bollocks off for us it does make you wonder if what he really meant was "I can't wait for us to see the back of TSM"

Have we been linked with Djibril Cissé yet?

Gabby has never had the touch or ball control to link play. To be frank as much as we love him he is finished as a top league performer. About 3 years ago he developed lot of muscle that stood him good for a season or two but now he is losing pace and that was his biggest asset. Defenders have worked him out and thats not too difficult. He can not fit into our team with Bent. We must play for Bent next season. I doubt it if he can transform into a more subtle intelligent forward like Dublin or Withe do I repeat if we can get some money go for it now.

PL has apparently put a bid in to Chelsea for Ryan Bertrand which has been rejected

Good news, that. Means we're looking for a Left Back.

He started in a Champions League final so he can't be worse than Warnock.

I don't disagree entirely, but for £5m you might as well keep him and try and recapture his form. He's only 25, and neither of the two forwards you mention there were anything like the finished article at that age.

That is good news. OK may be we don't get Bertrand but shows Lambert is thinking the right way. This is impressive.

Maybe if we are interested he might be keen, he won't shift Cole will he?

I agree entirely with your comment and it's up to Gabby to develop his game in a new direction.
