And I wouldn't. There's something about him I just don't rate. The fact most Swedes can't stand him would also ring alarm bells. But as we'll never (thankfully) see him in a Villa shirt it doesn't really matter.

If it helps he's much better than Berbatov imo who's had a good career for himself in the prem.

All this Adam Johnson debate raises one question for me, and that is, what happens to the £10m left winger we signed last summer? I'm not making any comments about either player's merits or abilities btw, just wondering what the thinking on this might be! Will we play both? If so, will Holman play in the Ireland role maybe? All pointless speculation at this point I know, but then, it's the thread for it!
