Don't take Talksport as gospel. Dost hasn't rejected us as we haven't even contacted him, never mind offer him anything.
Also, it was his agent talking bollocks. They all think or say their clients are worthy of nothing but the best.

But it wouldn't be a suprise if other clubs were favoured over us right now.

Hoillett would be a great signing on a free, but I doubt we will get near him.
And he wouldn't be free.

If we're talking wingers at Wolves, I'd take Knightly. He's looked pretty sharp over the last couple of months.

Speaking of wingers, from today's BBC gossip page:-

FC Twente's 19-year-old winger Ola John, wanted by Sunderland and Aston Villa, is thought to prefer a move to Benfica, who are likely to secure his services for £9m, according to Portuguese newspaper A Bola.

I know the source is shit, but anyone heard anything else about this?

Decent player, but far too injury prone.

I take it that we're talking about Kightly rather than Knightly.

However, Keira could be a better winger.

No, Knightly. You obviously don't know your football  ;) Odd. I wasn't even thinking about Keira when I typed the first post.

Anyway, the Wolves lad. Yes, he's had injury problems but I'm not sure if he's injury prone or just had a bad long-term issue. Seems to have been fit for most of the season.

Id put Phillips and Zaha above Kightly,Zaha reminds me of Young a bit,but would be over priced,we would get better value abroad.

I'd prefer Ola Jordan etc.....

Now you're talking.
She can buff up my Rhumba anytime she likes.

I think the fact that Sunderland are mentioned in the same breath as a potential expensive foreign signing tells you how much credence should be given.

I see the link:

Ola John - Ola Jordan - Eddie Jordan - Martin O'Neill.

According to the Mail, Everton are front runners to land Das Bost. What an ego bruising that would be.. rejects the Villa to join an elite club, Everton.

How has he 'rejected' Villa? We haven't made a bid!
