Maz, I would bet a large amount that we cannot afford Boswingas wages.

I bet one weeks of Boswinga wages, whatever they happen to be?

I think I would win that bet. He is reportedly on 80-90k a week. I would doubt he is going to take a drop, there will be someone mad enough to pay it somewhere.

He'll be back on the continent somewhere. Turkey or France would be my bet.

Depends on how his wages would fit in with everybody elses and how important his signing would be considered but I'm not really arguing that we're likely to sign him anyway. I dont doubt he wouldn't be considered a priority or worth a huge contract.

In short, the overall wage issue is the problem, not individual contracts.

I like lichaj's commitment. But he's looked poor on the ball and positionally to me.
I agree about some of his ball-usage but I think his positional play has been pretty good: he covered for Dunne and Carlos a couple of times yesterday through good reading of the game. Certainly way ahead of the experienced Hutton in terms of positional play.

I think he has let a few people ease past him by diving in. And where was he for the last minute chance yesterday? I don't think he was within 10 yards of the player on his side.

Maybe but I think he's showing some serious promise ... perhaps I'm just comparing him with some pretty mediocre performances from other players.

They usually give some reasonably heavyweight painkillers for it ... I certainly floated on morphine when I had mine.
Good luck tomorrow.

Fletcher. Good in the air. Scores goals. The ideal swap for E. Donkey?

Shouldn't this be on a separate thread  ;D
(seriously though, know someone who's had them and he said that they're a touch painful)
