The big question: is Holman any good? I don't know much about him tbh.
Scored a whopping 14 goals in 86 games for AZ.

It's on the OS now

Surely the Summer plans have already been stated by McLeish, John.

'A couple on low fees and some Bosmans.'

I don't think the value was ever mentioned and there are some very good players out there on Bosmans.

Hopefully better than Brett Holman.

The OS reckon he's a midfielder.

I thought he was a striker.

If he is a midfielder then that goal ratio isn't too bad.

To be fair, he's known more for his assists. I really think its a good deal...... Perhaps we can persuade them to part with Erasmus Elm too.

He's more of a winger/wide man.

I hate to piss on everybody's chips, but don't you see this as the sort of signing he made when he was at The Dog Shit?

Well I for one know nothing about the player so I don't know one way or another if it is the sort of signing he made at the blues.

Well, Arthur Numan is our Dutch scout. I expected some transfer action in Holland but not this fella.
I know less than fuck all about him so will have to see him in action before making any comment.

But so far, so... meh.

What 27 year old internationals did he sign for them on Bosmans? Especially ones who play regularly for a side topping a decent league like the Dutch league?

If you mean the version of Hleb that played for Arsenal, then great, but he was finished by the time he rolled up at the Dog$hit.

AZ are currently the league leaders and he's played a good role in helping them. The top Dutch players like Vertongen, Elm, Strootman and so forth will always go for big bucks, but there is a lot of talent out here. I recall us being linked with Immers at ADO at the beginning of the season. Not sure why we didn't follow that one through, as he's pretty decent.

I really think its a good deal
