The Moose from Talksport tweeting that Carroll held talks with Villa after the WBA game...probably twittering bollocks but there's not much else going on so...

Sounds like crap.

Seem to be rumours gathering that carroll didnt go back on the coach last night and stayed in brum for talks with villa today, maybe bollocks but a figure of £16-£18m being mentioned, would be surprised if he came here but i think it would be a good fit.

While it would be very interesting, I honestly cant believe we have anywhere near that much money to spend.

We dont. Apparently L''The Mighty Reds YNWA' still owe half of Downings transfer fee. So would only be around £6m to £8m.

Instead of finding Andy Carroll we should be looking for new Luc Nillis to play with Darren Bent.

Was that part of the deal? Or have they literally just decided to not pay us half of it?

If the Moose told me the time I would check another watch !

Most unreliable man in the rumour world. Never ever right!!

Although, Carroll is going to end up somewhere, and he is the type of player Lambert could use. I'm not saying it's us categorically, but it wouldn't be a complete shock. The Moose has a little cock though. Of that there is little doubt.

8 million plus writing off 8 million of Downing would mean they had paid 4 million and Carroll for Downing. I would take that.

And the Moose a complete anus. And must have a little cock you are right.

Maybe they have realized he is a load of cack and instead of handing over any more cash they will flog us some cack back just to even things up.
I'm not sure if a Carrol type player is the answer to our problems but yesterdays plan didn't work out so obviously a different approach is required.

Yeah, which proves nothing as it was almost a spur of the moment decision from MON.
