Pisser that we have to give Keane back.  It's like test driving a BMW for the weekend then returning it and going back to your Daewoo Matiz.
I suppose better to have him for a limited amount of time than not at all. And I've a sneaking feeling that Ireland might be able to step up and replace him in that role. Might be wrong, but we'll see soon enough i suppose.

Keane may not have the pace anymore, but his speed of thought and awareness is exceptional.

I keep saying it but just go and sign Keane for the rest of the season.

Yeah everyone keeps saying that but it isn't going to happen really is it?

Yes Heskey will just do that job in March. After all its  a matter of getting from A to B.
Oh and I don't like your bigging up BMW on here!

Just seen highlights of our goal again. Very good ball from Petrov to find Keane fast when we won the ball on the halfway line. Maybe the sideways tag will be put away now.

We have played some brilliant stuff today.  Deserve to be winning.  Play the same second half and we'll win this comfortably even with the usual calamitous defending.

Maybe Alex sat down with petrov and each player what he felt they were doing wrong....

Do you think L.A Galaxy would notice if we sent Emile Heskey back to them instead of Robbie Keane?

Offer them Heskey, Hutton and a bag of marbles and we might have a deal

It's really important that we don't concede another soft goal from a ball tossed into the box. Even with Newcastle being outplayed, they're a threat because their forwards are really dangerous

The sideways tag has always been harsh. All day here he's been pinging it forward any chance he's had. Petrov is a great player to have.
