Robbie Keane is just.. on another level isn't he? I never would have said it before, I rated him but didn't know the extent of his talent. He's just a great footballer. He leads the team, tells players what to do, where to play it. I really, really, don't want him to go.

Do you think L.A Galaxy would notice if we sent Emile Heskey back to them instead of Robbie Keane?

I keep saying it but just go and sign Keane for the rest of the season.

Pisser that we have to give Keane back.  It's like test driving a BMW for the weekend then returning it and going back to your Daewoo Matiz.

I was just going to say nothing quite working for Keano around the box. Then bosh. Get in Robbie.

And please bloody sign him Villa.

I doubt it.  The resemblance between the two is uncanny.

That's the least we deserve. Keane has been the best player on the pitch by a mile.

Get - that's especially for the Geordie with the whistle.

Yeah I noticed that and thought Halsey had blown for half time way too early. Serves the bastard right

OR swapping a footballer for Heskey...

The thrust of my comments here would have been the same if we'd been losing. I think we're playing much better than we had been up to half time last week at Arsenal when we were two up.

Lots of problems still. Clark's form has dropped a lot. Cuellar is over rated by many on here. We still look vulnerable at the back generally.

But we've put together some really good moves, exploiting the weaknesses in Newcastle's championship standard midfield. Keane has been absolutely sensational. Bent's movement has been very good but his touch and finishing weak. Ireland and CNZ have been intermittently threatening.

Keane is DEMANDING that people do the things we haven't done properly for ages: move off the ball; want the ball; have the confidence to play it.

I really fancy us to get another here, but we could easily concede a couple too. Interesting second half

The  twat on Sky News said "an improbable equaliser for Villa fen Keane"
What match is he watching or has he just assumed like rest of his colleagues that it's Villa so they must have had a lucky punt?

We have to continue to play like we have in the second half and take our chances.
