The only one of the 81/82 side I've never met is Jimmy Rimmer.

Me too.

I got Bobby Moore's autograph at Piccadilly Station in Manchester in Jan '73. He could hardly have been nicer about it.

That sounds more like the previous things I've heard about Bobby Moore. John e's mate approached him in an underpass not on a train station so I guess his response would have been very different in those circumstances.

Rare visit to WM tonight.  Wolves fan on tonight warning that our owners have left us on the brink of a massive fine for breaching FFP.

A bit of wishful thinking there but when all is said and done fines are fine. It’s what all the rich clubs do to be allowed to break the rules.

If only they'd focus on their recent years, and enjoy them.

The irony of ignoring that the way their club has been run at the bequest of an agent for the last 5 years is amusing.  Head in the sand.....

Where can I get access to all this insightful and in depth financial knowledge of Villa that seems to be so easily available to supporters of Small Heath, Smethwick and Wolverhampton Wanderers 1982 Ltd. ?

Just tune in to the radio WM phone in. Also there's usually a lengthy discussion of all things AVFC on their respective forums where you'll get well balanced opinions about us.

Sad to see that WM regular Terry Wills has passed away after a long period of poor health.

Sad news, one of the few contributors that added any sort of value to the boneheaded phone-in during the last few years.

Obsessive study through green-tinted spectacles for a lifetime should do it.

Yep, he was the first Albion regular I heard on the local phone ins before that strange Eddie creature surfaced.

Didn't he run their fanzine, think it was called Groaty Dick?

Edit: All covered in Dave's excellent piece, cheers!
