They're just a peculiar bunch, if we'd of just won at Man City I wouldnt give a fuck what any other team did there. They have a massive inferiority complex when it comes to us.

5.37pm: First Wolves fan on tonight: "Will Villa beat Man City in a few weeks time? " "I hope Traore scores against Villa in the Carabao Cup" They can't help themselves can they?!!
I heard that too what a tool. At least there was another wolves fan on saying how good it was for Midlands football that we also battered Norwich so they're not all twunts! Most annoying caller though was a Villa fan. He's obviously made his mind up about Wesley. He kept saying that he was useless in the air and will be nowhere near good enough against the top 4 clubs. The presenter said "blimey mate Villa won 5-1 at Norwich and Wesley scored two goals. Can't you just take all the positives from that" Caller "yeah i love Villa but Wesley isn't good enough" Presenter "wow. You"ve come on air after a result like that just to slate one of your players" Caller "yeah but i love villa"  I despair with some of fans at times.

Do they realise they're meant to represent all the Midlands clubs?!

They genuinely summed up tonight by saying Villa have got to be "disappointed" with the result, whilst Wolves understandably chucked it because they've got more important competitions to play.

That's bluenose levels of moral victory bullshit!

Imagine the reaction if the result was reversed.
Honestly they must think we’re all fuckin daft.

They do indeed have more important things to focus on. Like finishing higher than 15th in two consecutive seasons for the first time since before Slade first released "Merry Christmas Everybody".

Lots of Wolves fans contradicting themselves saying it was a reserve game that they didn't care about but then saying the atmosphere was poor and not that of a derby 🤔 Make your minds up lads.

I caught a bit of this on the drive home. Jeez, the negativity because Villa had won was so obvious.

From mocking a Villa fan who dared to say that he’d enjoyed the game, to consistently slating Douglas Luiz and declaring that there’s no way he can start on Saturday as he cannot he trusted.

Any Villa fan who rightly pointed out that apart from one error, Luiz was possibly the best player on the pitch were also dismissed out of hand.

I listened on the way home, not sure why.  It was pretty poor radio but to be honest they were just very dissapointed it was such a turgid game and that Wolves in particular hadn't taken it seriously.  I disagreed with them about Luiz, but otherwise I do think the anti-Villa bias is sometimes more in peoples mind than reality.

People feed their relevance by boosting their viewing figures. Just stop. You'll feel better.

The same goes for daily newspapers; all of them. You'll be better informed, happier and have a more balanced and realistic view of the world by never reading them again. Ever.

It's a good decision that you'll never regret :)

Can I just add listening to Talksport to this list.

You’ll never guess which club the Dingle who rang up tonight started talking about within 30 seconds.

I heard that. Honestly, what is wrong with people who ring up a radio station to talk about someone else's club?!
