Pretty much given up WM this season, after listening for a little while last season. I'm assuming the current Wolves side is still the best West Midlands football team that's ever existed?

Which of the following is factually correct?

It is the best ever promoted side.
It will get into Europe this season
Win the league the season after
Win the Champions League the season after
With last weekends win against Bournemouth it was the first time since 1980 they had won three games on the trot.

Just watching it pissing down at the dog heads, let all these muppets have there day in the sun, everyone of there players would want to play for us and when we return we will put all these tramps in the shade, it's coming soon to a ground near you. R adio wm is the kid in the class who doesn't like you but needs 4 mates to back him up.
Fuck em all.

No doubt WM will blame the rain for the dingles getting beat I am listening to the game on Radio Merseyside and ex villa man Mark Walters has just said Wolves have been outclassed

I've been watching for the last half an hour and Wolves have been very unimpressive. What's with the yellow kit?

I was wondering the same thing - when did they ever play in yellow? Liverpool murdered the dingles. As they like to say "they day av a kick".
Wanksy will still harp on about it as some sort of moral victory against the odds and that with Salah they'd have won.
That caller the other week that ripped Wanksy a new arsehole was bob on, I was listening as I drove going "go on mate, tell him what we've wanted to say for ages".
No doubt whatever today's result the cockwomble will paint a negative picture.

I rarely have a bad word to say about a former Villa player but Gary Thompson can fuck right off.

Don't mind Thommo on the co-comms so am also wondering what he said to cause offence.

He can come across like that geezer in the pub on the Fast Show, that agrees with whatever someone says to look popular. Hell of a nice bloke "in real life" though. He just oozes our own shared brummie natural tendency to be miserable about our teams.

As with most things on WM it's not so much what he says as the way it's said. When we've lost in the way we did yesterday I don't want to hear him agreeing with the air of we're shit and got what we deserved that they specialise in.

Much like my response on the match thread there were positives from yesterday but the glee felt by our rivals when we lose appears to be mirrored with relish by WM at times and it makes for base, clickbait style broadcasting of the type Talk sport vomit up every day.

I don't listen to WM so need to ask the question on here - when Smith was appointed were there many callers to WM espousing the " he's one of our own" mantra that some posted on H&V?
The reason I ask is that I would imagine that our fans reaction to his appointment and our imminent assault on the top two was potentially seen as arrogant and over confident by others - after a disappointing result yesterday ( which may bring some Villa fans down to earth in respect of automatic promotion) we need to reflect where the club was heading in the summer and earlier in the season - a reality check if you will
Smith needs time to bring in some of his signings, fans need to accept top 2 is beyond us and not all "winnable" games are winnable ! As for WM - stuff em

The other week a Blues fan rang up saying they’d go up automatically now that they’d ‘clicked’. Wolves last season went far beyond enjoying their brilliant Championship winning season, and started talking about Europe and Premier League wins before they even went up.

These fans are enthusiastic, over optimistic, maybe even ambitious - It’s only Villa fans who are arrogant.
