Those M6 traffic problems lead to me tuning in briefly yesterday just after 4.

Franksy's question was: What would you ban from England?

His own answer; Foreign Lorries, he'd make tham pay a levy. An educated and thoughtful answer, just what we need this summer.

Swiftly followed by a text, "Aston Villa". He laughed and mentioned that he may have started a football war. Followed I'm sure by texts from Villa fans saying "Blues", Wolves saying Albion etc. You find a better level of exchange in a school playground.

Did no-one text in "Radio WM" and/or "Paul 'Callmefranksie" Franks"?

Can we contain ourselves ........ the football phone in is back on Monday
No doubt Eddie will be there talking about the Midlands biggest Club
Mr Franks will no doubt focus on the takeover at Wolves
Alan and Jason will be there talking Villa
Si will tell us how great Gabby is
Will Blues reach plays off
Can Villa survive
Hardly seems worth tuning into ...........

And Polly, don't forget Polly, the bitter and twisted old hag.

And they were swiftly bollocked for being rude about the other Midlands clubs.  Now Wolves have been taken over, theyll be even more insufferable.

It's that or Durham and Gough on Talksport.

Wonder how long it will be before Franksy asks who the biggest club in the West Midlands are?

I know that there have been cutbacks in infrastructure since I left, but there are only 2 radio stations left in the UK?

If you want to listen to football chat on the drive home, that is your choice.

In that case why not give Radio 4 a go?

Ah, Steve Lurpak.  One of the few people on the radio who's a bigger prick than Franksy.

Why do they really need a phone in 5 days a week? When I was growing up it was only on Friday night which is logical with the weekend games imminent.

Let's be honest teams on this patch are  shite so there isn't much to shout about, Manchester and London I can understand.
