WM. The Mail know it will increase their hits from Villa fans having a pop. Most Villa fans do not want their voice heard on WM, in case any of their friends recognize them and cast them into Purdah aka sending them to Coventry aka Hades.

Did they actually cover our game, put on WM as soon as the final whistle went and they had Wolves on of course...
Yes they did, mark regal with Ken McNaught commentating.

I've just realised as well - why were they playing Kaiser Chiefs' Ruby over the goal commentary?

I'll go with "a massive lack of imagination and an unpaid 19 year old intern being told to pick something that he thinks would be appropriate".

Franks saying Rondo is the real deal but our French signings "jury is out"  There you go, Rondo already a world beater.  Hope he turns out as Brown Ideye mk2...

This is the same Franks who said he didn't know anything about him on Friday.

Also they were on a Villa call just when in the middle of it him and Mel Eves (legend) started talking randomly about a wolves player.

Never heard of him but he must fit at least one of these criteria to be a non Villa midlands legend-

.openly hates the Villa
.been sent of for thuggery against Villa
.lower league Journeyman
.scored a goal in a cup named after something obscure you'd buy in B&Q
.was spuriously linked to signing for a big club in the Evening Mail
.a complete twat

35, never heard of Mel Eves either. And I'm generally a sad football anorac.

I remember him, played up front for them, not very good.  He must be knocking on sixty by now.
