Last night's phone-in also included baggies fans claiming that they are rightly valued at the same price as us. And trying to justify the comparison one of them said that the stand he was in, (didn't say league or cup game so don't know which one), should be condemned due to it's narrow isles etc. and the Health and Safety Executive would have a field day if they inspected it. Obviously the Hawthorns is vastly superior to our crumbling abode.

I know I shouldn't listen but I just can't help myself.

Clearly ours is the only ground in the Premier League without a safety certificate.

Listened to the last half hour last night and can't say it was overly negative...may be it was because Franksy was sat next to Peter Withe so was on his best behaviour. He obviously cynically questioned the dubious takeover rumours but also argued that we shouldn't sell Benteke for less than £40m (be interesting to hear him try to argue and justify that the Baggies forwards are as good as or as highly valued Benteke now).

With regards to the comments about the narrow isles in the stands...I've heard Villa fans complain about the poor facilities and width of the concourse areas in the upper Witton Lane stand compared to the Holte. I've never been in there so but I'm pretty sure it has regular health and safety assessments.

£40m minimum?  Two days ago he was saying there was a £30m release clause in his contract.

I only listen to that show because I'm leaving work when it's on, but it's ridiculous the amount of crap they repeat just to fill out a nightly programme.  Two nights of this drivel a week would be more than enough.

Does anyone know if I can listen to WM online for today's game on the app Tunein Radio? Trying to get around the usual "not online" thing they do during live games. In India so struggling for other options although I can also probably get on Talksport or 5live.

With Sandwell away there is a good chance that game will be on FM with Villa on DAB. 5live are also doing the Newcastle game so updates maybe your best bet.

Cool I'll give it a whirl, wifi here won't stretch to a dodgy stream. Not that I would do something like that anyway of course.

Try Talksport - when we were in Barbados last week they seemed to be offering online commentary on all premiership games.

Amfy you are a genius. Got it working on and off at least and whoever is commentating is also adding a bit of frisson to the occasion by calling Bacuna Bacoonya. Interesting.

Listened for a bit on the way back from the match.  Don't miss Thursday's show with Franksy - it's a tenth anniversary special looking back at Albion's massive achievement of staying up on the last day of the season.

I heard that. Geoff Horsfield live from the Fox in Walmley (he's in there all the time) and forgetting to mention they just got relegated the next season.

Listened for about half an hour in the car after the match today and they honestly didn't mention Villa for about 20+ minutes. It was all about the Albion.

He did indeed say that.
