Small Heath fans have all still got the Wembley stickers in the back windows of their cars.

From the 1991 Leyland Daf final.

I actually saw a car sticker last year from the first time they got back up in 2002-03 - the caption was 'back where we belong.'  It was on an old Datsun Cherry, parked in McDonalds Yardley.  Stereotypes, us?

There aren't any McDonalds in Yardley. You must've been in the lesser South Yardley or Shitts Green.

Has any of the local media actually congratulated us on getting to Wembley yet?

I have seen no mention of the gesture the club made regarding Jeff Astle either.

Coventry Road Yardley? Right opposite Yardley Fish Bar? Near what was The Good Companions. Then Harry Ramsdens. Now Peachy Keans.

South Yardley I think but the 2 have always been interchangeable to me

Shown in the link below. Nothing official from the Albion that I can see, but the family and campaigners seem happy with our efforts.

They definitely mentioned the Astle applause but I'm still waiting for the congratulations on reaching the FA Cup semi final. Imagine the back slapping if it was Albion or Small Heath who had actually reached Wembley and not Villa.

Let's hear Wanksy put a negative spin on this result on Monday evening.

If we win the FA Cup, Franksie will have a phone in asking how many of our team would get in Albion's 1968 squad.

It'll be 'where has that Benteke or Gabby been hiding' or 'why oh why did they not score 6/7/8, poor 2nd half'

In-between beating themselves stupid over the Pulis masterclass vs Stoke :-)

Franksy must have been in tears today.

He was spouting "will Albion be the Midlands top dogs this season" tonight.
