No, it clearly says Moderator above his name. If it is a disguise it is a pretty novel one.

Only came on the site by chance today and boy I'm glad I did I didn't realise that such a forum existed where you make a comment and BANG all these people voice their comments but all disagree with anyone new.

This is going to be fun

WM as a local BBC radio station are very good - they know they have to try and appeal to a wider audience than that held by the commercial music stations and so have carved a more journalistic and sometimes campaigning niche. I don't think many have an issue with their overall output it's just that they appear to have an agenda when covering the biggest ffotball club in their catchment area.

You know what I love most about this site? I love all the time we spend running it, then someone new comes along and the first time anybody disagrees with them they complain that there's some kind of mafia (it's almost always a mafia), anyone who agrees with me or one of the moderators on any subject is ganging up on them and if they say anything different they're going to get banned.

Well who started the RADIO wm argument off? I could not believe that someone was having a pop at the station. Isn't the idea of media to be critical when needed has anyone on here who thinks WM are biased etc actually tried to do the job? I'm interested to hear what other fans think who maybe have a different opinion to the author of the original post. Are WM a good station?  If not why not and maybe some fans may feel that they are decent or maybe fair?

So far we're up to five pages of other fans saying what they think. The original poster presumably started this thread because he doesn't like WM's current output and most of us seem to agree with him.

Dave McClark five seems to agree with me and he seems to be an old timer on here, well said my friend.

Nothing better than listening to WM after a game. When you consider you have spent so much on a season ticket but can get good entertainment on WM for free.

I think what you have to remember that WM have 3 or 4 different presenters on their phone-ins, so each presenter will have a different take which is healthy to say the least. Especially when you consider the thick skined ache on independent radio.

WM will always raise questions on the subject matter. Wolves had it in the neck last week.

But they all seem to be anti Villa, especially Franks and Mark Regan. The latter takes particular pleasure in his snide digs aimed at Villa.

Simple answer – stop listening to the shite.

I stopped insulting my ears with it years ago.

This..
I only listen to them to catch the odd bit of bears commentary but thats only because you cant get it anywhere else.

Football fans in general think that any given media are against their club. Look at the comments on this site... Meaning Evil, Big Gay Lawro, Pat Murphy, WM. Are they really all against us? I think not. It's a siege mentality... ua against the world. It's easy to pick up the negative comments and ignore the good.

I agree with SH.

I actually don't mind WM that much, I prefer listening to their commentaries more than BRMB where by the sounds of Tom Ross every time a team goes over the halfway line it's going to be a goal.

I think the problem WM is is doing the phone in every single night, it just used to be on Fridays didn't it? So they need a steady stream of callers every night. So it's easier to be negative for the sake of it as it pretty much guarantees callers.

Well said top man Jimmy Smash good to hear another fan and there are many who feel WM are decent.
