What would be great would be if the local press -  WM, Mat Kendrick and so on - could use their journalistic skills on behalf of the fans to see if they can find out more about Paul Smith and his alleged takeover.  A bit of genuine, quality public service journalism instead of this cheap space/time filling nonsense of "is so-and-so gonna get sold?" or "whose club is the best?" would be greatly appreciated.

I don't and never have listened to WM.  Judging by comments on here I must be making the correct decision. Never mind what Benteke is doing next season, I think Franksey should be more concerned whether he can hold down his job for another few months if this is the standard of broadcast he appears to churn out.

You could hope, but this is BBC Sports.

A.) The standard of BBC sports reporting is so low Franksey hardly stands out.
B.) They do not fire anybody for being crap at their job.
