I don't and never have listened to WM.  Judging by comments on here I must be making the correct decision. Never mind what Benteke is doing next season, I think Franksey should be more concerned whether he can hold down his job for another few months if this is the standard of broadcast he appears to churn out.

You could hope, but this is BBC Sports.

A.) The standard of BBC sports reporting is so low Franksey hardly stands out.
B.) They do not fire anybody for being crap at their job.

Franksy has turned on Brown Ideye: he's "hopeless" now on tonight's show!

Franksy is so highly considered, he even got the election night count gig
'Would you swap Ed for David? '.

I once owned a guinea pig called Entwistle Thorpe. Maybe one day there will be a footballer named after him. He chewed through the flex of an electric lamp and was electrocuted, so there's that.

Tonight's words of Wisdom from the great champions of Aston Villa.

"Face it Villa fans, Benteke's gone".

"Villa had a lot of luck with Fosters mistake, if it wasn't for that they'd be relegated".

Calller: "Tim Sherwood has done a great job......."

"Franks: "But you lost 6 1 on Saturday"

God knows why I keep subjecting myself to this drivel.

If Foster hadn't made his mistake we'd still be 2 points clear of the relegation zone so they're not even right about that. How is it 'lucky' the Albion keeper fouled our player? What a bunch of tossers.

And a week tomorrow they'll be wanting us to listen to their cup final coverage.

Monday 1st June, Radio WM:-

'Villa fans - doesn't this trophy win just paper over the cracks?'
'Benteke was lucky with his 4th, looked offside to me.'
'How many Villa players who are on that open top bus parade tonight would get in the Albion team, because let's not forget the Baggies finished as Kings of the Midlands.'

"How do you feel knowing every Aston Villa fan watching the FA cup win is going to die one day?"

Fuck them, stop listening. If you feel strongly about it, write in and tell them why.

He has to try and shoehorn Albion into every conversation about Villa.  Next week it will be "if Ideye had not missed that sitter, Albion would be at the Cup Final this Saturday". As someone else said, don't bother tuning in.

I always used to listen in to franksy between 6-7 of an evening on my journey home.
But I got sick of him stickin it to villa at every opportunity, it really is very biased.
Have not listened in 4 months, supposed to be for all local clubs not just 1 franksy, you stripey arsed cock jockey.
