Gotta go Villa's way tomorrow. Keane has to score. It's almost as poetic as his return to The Dingles.

See ITV will be doing the 5th round draw before the match. Is there nothing they won't fuck up?

Correct. The draw starts at 3.40pm, 20 minutes before we kick off - pathetic. Don't know if this is the fault of ITV or the FA though.
In about 5/10 years, they will probably have done away with replays altogether, changed it to a mid-week tournament, quarters finals onwards played at Wembley, and the final got out the way played in August as a show piece opening the week before the Premier League starts.

Useless but vaguely interesting pointers for the game - Arsenal have lost only 1 of 33 home FA Cup matches under Wenger. We have taken more points at the Emirates than any other side.

Both managers decide that the league is their priority and field reserve teams.

Arsenal 1 Aston Villa 10.

And Scudamore will have the final played in the Far East as game 39

It's our year - 2-1 to us tomorrow, the cup is opening up nicely and the chance to give the rags a good reaming out on the way to Wembley too!!!

I'll go for a 2-2 draw; Bent and Keane for us, Van Persie with both for them

I honestly think we have a better chance of turning them over at the Emirates than Villa Park but more than happy to be proved wrong and watch us win the replay 5-0

I have a feeling that we've got this, even though I can't imagine what the starting line up might be. I want to see Ireland feature but Keane has earned his place if McLeish throws him out there. In all reality, it's the FA Cup.. I want to go out there and just go and attack. Take a risk, and take them on. They're soft and Wengers just going to field a bunch of kids anyway. The supporters better do their part, we are squad deep tomorrow.

villa 3-0

-------------Guzan

Hutton-Collins-Dunne-Warnock

Albrighton-Petrov-Clark-Gabby

----------Keane-Bent

Guzan deserves to play in the cup, Warnock deserves another chance after last week and Marc keeps his place because N'Zogbia is out.

1-3 Bent x2 Keane, Oxlaide

I've not felt this excited about a game in a while. I'm trying not to get my hopes up (years of experience!) but yeah, come on, believe.

Time to unleash the Gardner...... 3-1 Villa, we'll go one down to a shit penalty then Clark will equalise, Bent will beat the offside trap for the second before half time and Gardner will finish them off with a free kick in the last ten. Wenger will launch a water bottle at the crowd at the final whistle and resign straight after.

Gardner played 120 minutes on Wednesday. Can't see him starting especially now Ireland is back. I imagine it will be the team Shrek set out above, but with Given in nets.

Personally, I'd play Ireland over Keane, but some might consider that stupid!

Setting off soon to drive to Three Bridges and then train from there, meeting Frank at London Bridge, nice day for it down here, bit nippy but nothing too bad and dry at least. Hope to see a few other H and V colleagues!
