I thought Clark did OK in the first half considering he was up against a good winger and left completely isolated by Gabby. Kightly saw a lot of the ball one on one with him, it was always going to be a struggle. Warnock definitely profited from Albrighton's industry - and Clark providing a good central shield  - in the second.

At last returning ex-player syndrome works in our favour. Two brilliant strikes from Keane, although they probably only gave us back what his presence,or otherwise, helped to cost us in the first place.Very Lee Hendrie. Lovely to see the goals go in, though.

It was a truly excellent debut from Gardner. The biggest plus was that he looked like he belonged there. He did and will make mistakes, but he looks a real good player in the making.

Keane has given Mcleish a problem. He can't drop him after those goals, he's going to find it hard, as he did today, to accommodate him without us getting outmanned and overrun in central midfield.

Petrov should never have played against Swansea after getting knackered and injured 48 hours previously against Chelsea. He's now running on two star again and needs a good rest.

Cheers Legion, I won't get bored of watching that winner very fast.

The defending for their second does make me shudder, though.  Our pathetic defending of corners is getting embarrassing and if we can't get it sorted it's a big mark against the manager.

Hard work on the training ground paid off. Comfortable victory and in some style. Randy will be delighted.

Team 10/10
Manager 10/10.

Well done lads!

I agree with the points above about Keane presenting us with a problem. We already have one with Gabby and Bent. At least Keane's isn't a long term issue.

We have 2 games in 4 days in a week's time. I'd have thought that merited some rotation, illness and injury permitting. Petrov shouldn't play both games I suspect, neither should Keane. I'd go 4-2-3-1 at Arsenal, with Ireland back in the side if ready. And then less sure about QPR, but perhaps Keane in and more of a 442, though Clark in midfield is a must for me.

Anyone else get the feeling that Bannan isn't going to feature too much going forwards?

Keane is going to have to work on his goal celebrations. They are a bit rubbish.

1752: More Emmanuel Frimpong news now, and it isn't good. According to BBC WM, Wolves' on-loan midfielder has fractured a cheekbone and will be out for three months.

Shame for the lad. He's a cracking player.

Yep,I think he'll struggle now to get into the team, unless Ireland is out for a bit.

Doesn't Keane have an excellent record against Arsenal?

5live saying Frimpong in the hospital.  His going off benefited us but I hope he hasn't damaged his eye badly or anything...

Edit;  Just read the post from Summers.  Bad injury but at least it's not a career-ender or anything.

My opinion on it is that we've got a nice problem to have trying to fit different players in. Would be interesting to see if McLeish does go for Keane permanently in the summer. On the right deal (which might prove a problem as I'd say he's on a fair wedge in LA) then it'd be a risk worth taking imo.

Already posted this once, but I'll do it again.

We all know Keane's goal celebration- he scored against us enough- but I imagine we didn't see it today as he showed respect to one of his old teams, a bit like when Milner scored against us this season.
