Are Rovers the Small Heath of Bristol?

 >:(

No. That Somerset lot are called "City", so its them who are SHA-esque.

Rovers are the up-market team from the Gloucestershire (ie correct) side of the River Avon.

There was nothing 'up-market' about Rovers when they were throwing sharpened up old pennies at us in that Tote End. They were as rough as f**k and nobody can change that now. Mind you, so we're we.

There was a fair bit of trouble down there when we played them in the FA in the 90s.
My mate and I had a pint in a pub close to the ground but it was very uncomfortable so we headed to the ground after just the one.

We saw some chasing around before the match, with one lad being chased into and out of a corner shop my mate was buying cigarettes from.

When we got into the away end I vaguely remember a few of our supporters turning up with masks on after what appeared to have been a bit of trouble.
