Depends on which team turn up, if the team that played Chelsea turns up we'll have a narrow win. If the Swansea team turns up, then we will be beaten, but not by much because their forwards are struggling as much as ours.
Bent to score and he'll celebrate by revealing his "Villa Forever!" tattoo across his back to the cameras.

2-1 Villa. It will be tight and nervy but an appearance by Robbie Keane at some point might lift the crowd and the players a bit.

Everton have worked hard tonight at Tottenham and with a lot of players not available the weekend think we will out play them. Especially when they tire second half. 2-0 Gabby Collins .....

Distin got taken off injured too, meaning they had heitinga and Duffy at centre back. Moyes also doesn't seem to trust Drenthe much.

I'm feeling like this is a really good time to play them. The fans really need to get behind the team, and that seems to require some encouragement.

Interesting to see what team he plays. I think Ireland, CNZ, gabby and bent as the front four, probably in a 442. But I'm pretty unsure about what our best side is for games like this.

If Bent doesn't start we will win.

Amazing how you'll take Ireland who, over the vast majority of games for Villa, has generally been a lazy fucker who's contribution amounts to very little, over Bent.

A couple of ok games and you have him over Bent, who has contributed more through scoring goals.

Just in case you weren't sure, scoring goals is the idea of football. You have to score more than the other team if you want to win. It's not about a player having 3 or 4 good games in 2 seasons.

It's amazing how you think the sun shines out of Bents arse based on last seasons form, yet you dismiss Ireland on last seasons form???

Ireland has looked quality, hungry and committed in the last few weeks the complete opposite to Bent.

So based on recent form and not last season, yes, I pick Ireland over Bent.

Ow and Ireland has as many goals as Bent since Bent came back from injury.

I like this. Slightly over crowded  but let's hope no one notices! No way Everton will get past over front 3 and 5 midfielders. I am going to try this sort of line up for my FL team this week as well.

Ireland's form last season? What was that like, then? Do you mean when he was throwing strops and refusing to move house here, or when he was out clubbing and being ill at Newcastle?

And Ireland's got as many goals as Bent since Bent came back from injury? All of a few weeks ago. One swallow does not make a spring, especially not in the case of Ireland.

They'll be coming to VP expecting at least a draw and probably see this game as a good chance to take all 3pts. Its going to be hard work for us if they get an early goal and sit back. Similarly if we get an early goal then that will leave them open for counter attack so it could end up being quite comfortable if they fall into that trap.
