Why are they giving us free coaches?

Because they don't think we can sell out our allocation?

Our? You're fooling no-one mate.

Says the Manc...

Well I can vouch for him....who can vouch for you?

'Our'? You're a bluenose.

I expect better from a Moderator.

Just pointing out a fact, Tao.

If you know my name (dunno how you know this) then you should know that I'm a Villa fan.

Incidentally, the same thing happened to me on Villa Talk (everyone thought I was a Bluenose and some still do.)

It's not the first time you're wrong, I'm sure you're used to it.

I think I am right tbh.

2011 Carling Cup Final
Starting line-up: Foster Carr Johnson Jiranek Ridgewell Larsson Ferguson Fahey Gardner Bowyer Zigic
Subs: Taylor Murphy Parnaby Beausejour Phillips Jerome Martins

Only the players in bold remain.

So that's only 6 players out of 18.

You're midtable in a shite Championship. That's hardle "doing well".

No we are midtable in the top-ranked league in Europe.

"We"?

Yes we (Villa) and midtable in the Premier League (the top ranked league in Europe.)

To be fair, what do you expect when your posts are normally the polar opposite of the general view of most Villa fans?

Most people on here are keen to see vibrant discussion of differing views but starting threads like (and I'm paraphrasing here) 'Should we change the club's name to include Birmingham?' and 'Villa Park - what's the point in expanding it when we can't even sell out what we've got' would appear to be deliberate attempts to wind most Villa fans up.  Not to mention your almost encyclopedic knowledge of the Blues squad!

It's hardly surprising you get accused of coming over from SHA for a wind up.

Whatever the reason is, if it gets more fans down there behind the team it can only be a good thing.

Absolutely. The words gift horse and mouth spring to mind. I'd decided not to go to this as driving (park at High Wycombe then train in) would cost me about £60 + £35 for the ticket; train from Kiddie to London would cost about the same, and to be honest spending best part of £100 for a game is not something I can afford these days. Free coach from VP brings the game back to affordable and has got me thinking of going now.

I see that from next Monday they go on sale to people with a history of attending home games this season.
Add in the free coach and I'm definitely up for it. Can't afford Bransons rip off train prices.

Ordered my ticket just after 9am.

For some reason AVFC are refusing to send a coach to Gloucestershire to pick me up. I'm sure that there's enough people going from down here to justify a free bus from 'Nam/Glos.

I am looking forward to this as I think we can beat them. I am certainly not going there as an underdog with foam Villa hands and expecting to clap our brave lads off after losing 6-0 to the mighty Arsenal. We have to hit them hard. Our support could make the difference to the result. By this I mean those watching the game not throwing beer over each other under the stand fron half time until the final whistle.
