Also, can we have half an hour of Gardner? He has played 5-6 lower league games recently so might be better adept at trying to make us look like a football team.

How Warnock made it pro is beyond me, he's cack! Stevens must be better, without doubt. One day our defence will pass to our midfield...one day.   :-\

Warnock was class against Chelsea. There's a player in there somewhere.

this game is not a great advert for the premier league, football league, fa cup or anything really!

The subscriptons to ESPN will reach a record high after this game!

Darren Bent - You play for England.

I am reliably informed that these defenders once were lucky enough to get tickets at Wembley to watch England.

Why are you so scared of them?

Houllier might be a cock in some of things he said and how he went about certain things but he picked out a lot of weaknesses in our squad very quickly. Warnock being an England international tells you all you need to know about the state of our national game. Houllier stuck him in the reserves which is just about his level.

Agreed.

He played decently, but for 8 million quid, I would expect nothing less. He is not fit lo lace Bouma's boom boom boots.
