gabby for heskey. gabby's done very well against weaker sides this year, so here's hoping. I predict he'll score within 10 minutes.

Didn't the useless eejit only last til half time in his last match?  About the only redeeming feature of Heskey is that he picks up knocks every other game thus meaning he doesn't get prolonged runs in the side.

BR starting to put in the tackles - Ptrov and Ireland getting it from behind (so to speak).

From the bbc live feed:

1843: Stephen Warnock is having a shocker. Again he has loads of space on the right but his cross is massively over-hit, to the back post without a Villa player anywhere near it. Rovers can clear with ease. I have a personal gripe about professional footballers not being able to beat the first man with crosses but that was equally criminal.

Tells you everything when neutrals are calling that.

I used to play on a muddy pitch in Wakefield called Wrenthorpe Park.
I saw a match there the other day with old men strolling around misplacing passes and mentally already in the pub afterwards.

This match reminds me of Wrenthorpe Park.
