Didn't Warnock have to fetch the ball himself when it went out of play. Now Rovers are losing ball boys/girls have appeared.

Really poor quality from Villa. Simple passes to feet going astray. Warnock is a sunday am player. Please put Gary Gardner in the middle with Ireland ......

it's warnock and albrighton who are creating the chances, with ireland prompting when in the middle. I think Delph for Warnock might be a good shout but can't see AM taking the risk. And there is a chance Delph will do something stupid so that may be the right call.

N'Zogbia for Heskey and playing wide left may be the better shout, although it's really Warnock getting the space because Ireland is tucking in so much.

How long can people continue to blame the rest of the team for Bent's failings?
Because his goals per game ratio speaks for itself wherever he has played, even
in poor sides he has scored goals. He will not score from the balls he is recieving today and
most of the season.

The only thing that can leave me feeling uplifted after this game will be a top class cameo from one of the kids.

It does. The boy can score goals. He's also technically poor and has a bad first touch. Both are excusable BECAUSE he scores goals. But what isn't excusable is that he isn't working hard enough, isn't making enough movement or even trying hard enough to get the ball.

If the latter is true then we should sell him, or he should retire. Heskey has won a couple of knock downs, Albrighton and Warnock have put in some good balls and Ireland is trying to pull some strings.. are they to blame for Bent's poor movement or lack of work ethic so far?

GA on for Heskey - not the most adventurous of substitutions.
