Well I wouldn't have booed, but we need more guile, we need more patience and above all we need to calm down. Every time the defence get put under the slightest pressure they panic like pidgeons being charged at by a herd of wildebeest and smack the ball away. More calm, more movement, more guile in possession - maybe Bannan is the answer here.

I see what you're saying Monty but Bannan never looks like he has the patience, too busy being busy, wanting to change the game with every touch he gets. We need to press up on them but more importantly reduce the acres of space between Bent and the rest of the team. We're really failing to get players into the box when attacking and the Swansea defence are having a very comfortable afternoon.

Impressed with Ireland, N'Zogbia and Carlos. The rest are at best just going through thre motions.

So we beat Chelsea away, a great result and now find ourselves losing at home to Swansea. Blackburn beat Man U Way, a great result and are 2-0 down at HT to Stoke. After the Lord Mayor's show for both I appears.

Anybody that got carried away with the Chelsea is seriously deluded, AM engineered wins against Chelsea and Man Utd and a draw v Spurs this time last season for B'ham City and then went on to beat Arsenal in a cup final........................................And still got relegated.

Its our usual problems, no consistency, unable to match teams who pass the ball well and have no clue on breaking down a defence who are going to retain the ball and make us chase the game.

Now's the time for AM to earn his corn and kick the appropriate arses.

Irrespective of how want to dissect it, beating Chelsea at their place was a great result. Connecting beating teams to eventual relegation is taking the glass half empty analogy to the most extreme level.

You just know Heskey is going to make an appearance now.

But personally I would get Warnock off, put Clark at Left Back and Bannan in the centre.

I'm wondering how he's going to work the Heskey sustitution
