Warnocks shocking display has totally disturbed this team's setup. I think we will change gameplan drastically 2nd half.

Will it work? Not if Warnock gets back on the pitch.

I really think this is one of the worst games(half) I have seen a player have for Villa.

N'zog and Ireland have been a lot of huff and puff but no end product yet...hard for them though with the lack of quality and movement around them.

Warnock - just terrible. MON had the right idea shipping him off to the reserves and Warnock's attitude at that time told me he is not worthy of the shirt.

Gabby - could be the difference in the second half if he can recapture his early season form. Not happened for him in the first half.

Bent - just hope he sticks one away if he gets a chance.

Clark and Petrov - doing ok

How after the result and performance against Chelsea can we be so shit against a side with an away record of W0 D3 L6 F6 A19 GD-13?

Oh yeah, because we're Villa!

Maybe send warnock out in the away kit, he's spent the first half in claret and blue passing to white shirts...

Right, we need to change things a bit. Warnock s going to cost us another goal, but Clark is doing well in midfield so perhaps Hutton at left back?

Bent isn't really working up front, but not quite sure what the answer is there. Can't really take him off when we need goals. We could go 442 with Albrighton right, but I fear that would empty the midfield too much and Swansea would play around us even more.

Bit of a tricky one really. Might just need to keep plugging away, try and get some set pieces as they look vulnerable at the back, and get Bent to offer us more.

Well I wouldn't have booed, but we need more guile, we need more patience and above all we need to calm down. Every time the defence get put under the slightest pressure they panic like pidgeons being charged at by a herd of wildebeest and smack the ball away. More calm, more movement, more guile in possession - maybe Bannan is the answer here.

Warnock's performance reminiscent of Ugo's shocker at home to Norwich many moons ago.

Fair's fair though, Swansea have been great so far.

We've allowed them to be.
The standard "they're playing really well so it must be our fault".

Sometimes teams just happen to play really well.

You just know Heskey is going to make an appearance now.

But personally I would get Warnock off, put Clark at Left Back and Bannan in the centre.

Poor set up, poor tactics, Gabby might not be a lot of things but he's not a utility player, Left, Right and centre now I think in consecutive games, crazy, that said he's getting through a massive amount of work and the header in the 37th setting up Bent to have a pop was sheer brilliance, a better striker would have at least took that on rather than elect to pass out of the danger area.

Wait till the 60th, if it carries on Bent of, Gabby to the centre (he's really hungry) Clark of and maybe Ireland who looks as though is already fading to norm.

Nathen Dyer is a real handful, kind of player we should look to get.

Swansea could easily be 3 up.

Worst Villa player so far Warnock, Gabby is the match saver if played correctly, loads of work ethic from him.

It didn't warrant booing. I think we can win the game, get Ireland and N'Zog more involved as they've done good things. Gabby needs to improve a lot, and Bent needs to be given chances.

Warnock & Bent spent 45 minutes being the weak links sadly. How much are Liverpool offering?

I'd like to see Gabby and Nzog swapping sides a bit more often.  Both will be a greater goal threat when they're playing as outside-in wingers.  At the moment they're set up to feed Bent and I'm not sure Bent's movement, whilst excellent, is good enough to justify nullifying two of our attacking players.

So we beat Chelsea away, a great result and now find ourselves losing at home to Swansea. Blackburn beat Man U Way, a great result and are 2-0 down at HT to Stoke. After the Lord Mayor's show for both I appears.

They certaibnly look more fresh than us. I really don't think we've been terrible at all and started quite well. But Swansea really look excellent and their movement is a real problem for us.

Slaughter me if you want, but I actually think Heskey could cause their defence lots of problems. But then so could Gabby if he were up top.
