That's like claiming the blacks who settled in Handsworth were a different breed to the blacks who settled in Sutton Coldfield.

Think about it. For generations the Irish have fled poverty and famine to create world-wide diaspora.  Liverpool's population is made from the same gene pool that said at the nearest port of debarkation, "Right that'll do for me.  Where's the Dole Office?"
