The first two Nike kits were very good. Since they introduced the checks, they were pretty crap, and worse than this year's (home) effort. That said, I'm not sure the checks were Nike's idea... I heard Randy liked them, for some reason.Macron certainly deserve credit for getting the, perfectly-reasonable if unspectacular, for getting the kit out promptly... Nike couldn't be arsed.

I suppose that's ok if you are a footballer because you'll likely wear a few of those during the season and they won't really wear down. The best kits are still those Acorns sponsored kits made by Nike. I have the round neck version, and a mate of mine has a more v neck style. Both are made from much sturdier quality material and are excellent designs.
The parents at my school have bought me the new Villa home shirt with my name and the number 33 on the back plus a Sports Direct gift voucher which was used this weekend to get the away shirt. I like both.
While I don't find the Macron kit to be anything special, it's certainly head and shoulders above what Nike have provided for other clubs this season. The kits they've done for Man Utd, Arsenal, Barcelona, etc have all been bloody awful.Quote from: Rob92 on July 22, 2012, 11:53:49 AMWhile I don't find the Macron kit to be anything special, it's certainly head and shoulders above what Nike have provided for other clubs this season. The kits they've done for Man Utd, Arsenal, Barcelona, etc have all been bloody awful. As others have said, I think Macron let themselves down with the training/leisure gear.

My girlfriend is a teacher who has just left her job at a school in Wolverhampton, and I shit you not, one of her pupils insisted on bringing her a packet of bacon as his way of a gift!. He was only 5 mind. He said that he loves bacon so he thought that would be a good present. Very nice bacon butties this morning.

More than a packet of Chipsticks ?
