I think the colours are absolutely spot on, much better than what we've been given by Nike.

With regards to sizes, the shirts are coming up a little longer on people. However, the general feedback I received (I worked at VV for the Launch Weekend) was that if they were a medium last year, both the Small and Medium were comfortable for them, not general length/fit, but also on the shoulders.

I have to say that the colours look bang on to me also. Not everything is perfect. I'd have liked the collar to have a stripe or two folded down like 81. Still it will never be for everyone. I will be getting the away because it is very different to anything we've had in the past few years. I would love it if the club gave us a non sponsor option but I also understand given their commercial obligations with Genting why they wouldn't offer that for adults.

I've been vocally happy with the shirts, went to buy one today. Tried it on. Ended up buying this

instead. Happy with my decision too. Something just seemed off about the new shirt when I had it on. I really can't put my finger on what, though.

Has anyone else got a large short sleeve home shirt, if so have any of you noticed your Genting logo is slighty off centre and on a bit of a slant?

If not, Im taking mine back as it looks like it was printed by a blind man.

Just me then.... Typical.

Took it back to VP today, changed it without any fuss, sounds like they have had a few with dodgy printing, so if you are yet to get yours, check it before you leave the store.

has anyone seen the long sleeve yet? I usually prefer them to the short sleeve shirt, but I'm curious to see what the cuffs looks like.

The cuffs are actually cuffs, if you know what I mean? The shirt doesn't just come to an end like with Nike.

I did notice that ... it was a nice little touch. Looked like a proper sleeve as opposed to an extension, as Nike's were.

Awesome. Does anyone have a picture of it.. it's still not available through the online club shop.

I can just imagine the outrage now if we were given a shirt that was the same design as at least three other clubs in the Premier League.

I pick up dog-shit in Aston Park, but it's a great job as i can get to Villa Park whenever I want.

I'm not made to feel at all welcome in the club shop though - and they never let me try anything on.

I wouldn't make you feel welcome in my shop if you come in covered in dog shit!

Would depend on the quality of the design, I guess.

The first Nike home kit in 2007/08 was not disimilar to the Arsenal efforts from around that time.  That shirt will probably be remembered as a classic in a few years - if it isn't already.
