Quote from: cdvillafan on December 04, 2011, 03:23:00 PMJust checked and there were FIVE televised games in the Third Round last year so we have a very high chance of being moved around I reckon.I'd be surprised if we weren't chosen to be on TV. After the manc wank love in tie, ours seems the most likely to be chosen just because of the potential for an upset.

If we get beaten by the Gasheads will that count as an upset?
Tend to agree. Think there are 3 pretty much nailed on ties - Mancs, Forest/Leicester, and Bloose/Dogheads - so they'll be looking for a tie involving a lower league team against a PL team with the potential for an upset. And that's us!
Anyone mentioned Arsenal v Leeds? Current TV bosses' dream. It's an early 70s throwback thang.
Only 12k capacity? Clearly a case for switching grounds. If it's held at VP will get 10k from Bristol and 20 k Villa fans. So about 30 v 12 makes sense for Rovers to ask for switch.
