No idea what the scoreline will be although obviously Man U will win. Also held out hope of a draw in this match in the past (occasionally achieved) - no chance now though.

I get this nagging feeling we will win this 2-1, no idea why.

Drugs?

I bet Sir Alex wishes he was on something today.

Crisis Palace, ho ho ho, is that smoothie with the highlighted hair that thinks he's gods gift still the chairperson of them....

And who is the next fixture for them?  Ho Ho Hoooo NOOOOOO!!!!

We always seem to give a team / manager / player the perfect excuse to get back on track.

As an aside, how do people feel about Young returning?  Does anybody think there might be boos etc?  It'd be a shame if so.

This one could get unpleasant. I do not like the idea of Young against Hutton, his brand of divey-in, overly-aggressive attempted fouling seems to me to play right into Ash's hands.

Ash seems to be getting a battering by Utd fans on Red-Cafe.

As always there is a danger of treating the opposition with too much respect. They scraped a win against Swansea.  Their reserves were beaten at home to a Crystal Palace team that had five non-first teamers playing.  Their best eleven has been made to look pretty ordinary against one or two of the lesser sides of the Champs League.  As a group of players they are not in the very best of form and I reckon they are not as good as they are cracked up to be.   We need to be at them from the word go, giving them absolutely no space.  Villa need to go into the match with the intention of attacking and winning-if we do that I reckon we can win it by the odd goal.

If we sit back or are in any way negative in our approach to this match then it will be, for me, totally unacceptable and I fear the boos would start a-ringing around Villa Park.

I'm sure AM's learnt from the disasterous Bale two man marking job against Spurs. This time he'll make sure there's three marking Young.

Well said Billy. With the right attitude we can beat them and we will.

Surely Young will not be booed by anyone who is a decent person. He was great for Villa on the whole and I for one miss him very very much. He worked hard, he was creative, he beat players. I still like him alot and as long as he doesn't score and rub it in, I can accept him playing for someone else. Unlike Downing who I never liked anyway, and  the manner in which he left, made me justified in disliking the fucker every time I saw him playing for Villa. So many times, my dad and I would moan about players such as Jenas, Heskey and Downing being shit and still getting England call ups. They all ended up playing for us. Who next? Darren Anderton being signed up. I hope that Young has a stinker against us,but only because I know how good he is and was for us. And I want us to win. And that's it....I am babbling now. Just win Villa. Please. We are long overdue a win against Man Utd at Villa Park...and now I am stating the obvious. Time for a sleep

I remember singing "If Dion Dublin plays for England, so can I..." ...
