Any news on Karsa and Culverhouse?

'Sky Sports sources understand that he has put pen to paper on a three-year contract and will bring his assistant manager Ian Culverhouse with him from Carrow Road.' Probably nothing official until next week but reading the Norwich forums, they all reluctantly accept he's gone.

Karsa is his brother-in-law so you can expect to see him too at B6 early next week.

The icing on the cake (if correct)... welcome to all!

Just got back off hols to this news, good stuff. Any info on if were paying any compensation? Last I heard he'd walked out on Norwich due to them going back on a clause and I gave up trying to understand the way football finances work a long time ago.

Norwich saying talks are still going on regarding compensation.  I don't know if this means we're negotiating fees for backroom staff or whether he activated a clause or what...

Either way, he's ours now and I don't think it will cost us as much as our recent managerial comings and goings!

If it makes you feel any better I've just had a parking ticket for unknowingly parking in a very poorly marked Disabled spot.

Still a great day though.

take photos & appeal it. it MUST be clearly marked...

Really good appointment and one I hope we can all get behind.  Let him build the squad with some solid signings over the next couple of years.  It's a safe appointment, an up and coming manager who will shake the players up.  Well done to Randy for being ruthless.  No compo either, fantastic!!

,Hoping Lambert has his eye on a couple of young talented German players who will add a bit of technical play into our team. Also think having Holmann coming into the team under Lambert will be a big plus. Wow i am excited for the first time in ages ...........

well weather or not we still have to agree compo he is officially our manager. comp will be paid and his staff will come with him im sure about that. the norwich website even thanks him again before saying they have been inundated with applications for the vacancy(mcleish, bruce, curbishly, macarthy) oh im happy the days of scratting around the bargain bins have gone and we have come up with a good manager i can lift my self imposed exile now tsm has gone also

Talk about rubbing their noses in it !
I think Lamberts appointment is a fantastic one for us. He was my preferred choice over the last few weeks.
I'm looking forward to the new season, unlike this time last year.

They were an awful lot less concerned when Lambert did the same to Colchester when he joined Norwich. He's a very ambitious man, and he'll do exactly the same to us, but that's football. They're a bunch of idiots if they thought he'd shaft Colchester and not do the same to them when he got the chance.
