I am having a Great Day.

Woke up to find the wife horny as hell so...let's just say I didn't turn her down!  ;)

Ambled downstairs and saw the door mat full of the dreaded brown envelopes. Feared the worst but opened one of them to find a cheque for 1200 quid from the taxman. Totally unexpected tax rebate!

Went to Franky & Benny's and had a Full English with their scrumptuous herb potatoes (yes, they're back by popular demand).

Checked H&V on my phone to find that we have appointed the new manager that will bring the vibrancy back to Aston Villa.

It was at that point that I realised...I am having a Great Day.

 ;D

Well done on the snotty cock and tax rebate, but you have my sympathy regarding Frankie and Bennys.
I'd sooner eat cold Pot Noodle than eat there.

Agreed can't stand Frankie and Bennys!

Me & the wife are like some sort of sad F&B Groupies. We've been to about six differnet ones.

He's only jealous.
Doubtless he hasn't been on the nest for a few weeks and his bollocks are like Space Hoppers.

Happy with this appointment and I'm glad I renewed a coupld of weeks back.

It seems to have been handled well by Randy Lerner and co, despite suggestions on here they hadn't got a clue.

Looking forward to watching our players going into game trying to and believing they can win.

Roll on next season!

Great news. Wasn't my first choice but I think he'll do a fantastic job for us. And a big well done to the board - less than 3 weeks ago TSM was still our manager and talking about plans for next season. In 19 days they've recognised the mistake they made, sacked TSM, and made a great new appointment in Lambert. For the first time in 2 years I feel the club and fans are back on the same side.

Now that it's official, I'm obviously very happy and proud if this thread operated as a lucky charm to bring Lambert at VP! The 1st time that I talked about this dream  was in Venice, in March 2011, with Rob Bishop  Garry Thompson and Frank The Legend Pattison! Thay gazed at me as if I were an extraterrestrial as Norwich wer in championship whereas Villa had in charge an international manager as GH, but at the end the dream came true. . . ;)

Mr Lambert. The last three managers showed this great club and fans dissrespect at various times during their time here. If you treat the history of this club with the respect it has earnt, then these fans will show you immense adulation. You have pretty much everyone behind and willing you nothing but immense success. It is great to have you at Aston Villa.

And did you notice how 'different' they all were?

Oh, and welcome Paul Lambert.  I have the feeling you'll be just the breath of fresh air our great club so desperately needs.
